Flying requirements BFA

I just wanted to say how messed up it is that to unlock flying you have to basically do EVERYTHING that flying would be USEFULL for. Then, and ONLY then, can you unlock flying. I don’t know which dev came up with this in Warlords of Draenor, but it’s absolute bullcrap.

Getting something so basic shouldn’t take weeks (if not months) of running around doing world quests all day. At least the dungeons should give us rep like it used to. It’s hard to believe that you’ve kept it that way for 3 entire expansions.

Did you ever consider how many hours of gametime players had to dedicate to this? Obviously not. I think it’s disrespectful to the players as it shows how little you value their time. Here’s a shocker; it’s MUCH faster to make a new character and to take it all the way up to 120 than it is to get flying, even AFTER being done with the entire BFA campaign. Even if you would remove the 100% bonus experience from the Shadowlands pre-release event, that statement would still be true.

The only explanation I could see is that you just don’t want people to have the ability to fly around the world anymore. Well instead instead of giving us bullcrap assignments like this, you could just be upfront about it.

Alright, rant over. K Thx Bye.

Well, they did announce in an interview that they wished to remove flying starting in Warlords of Draenor. The Pathfinder achievements were the compromise they came to instead of removing flying.

This is actually great information. Thanks for sharing. In retrospect, the ‘‘be upfront about it’’ aspect was definetely met.
