Keeping up with what? Rare farming? Flight has no impact on any of the dungeons and raids.
WoD showed that that just isn’t the case. You are in the extreme minority here.
most people just train though stuff to get to their objective anyway. they don’t stop and kill or sneak past they just train through, tag their objective, and whistle out.
i prefer flying to that.
Blizzard did not take out flight. They time and rep gated its release.
That explains why you like flying then if you also like BfA and think it as an A OK Xpac.
Of course it does. You can make raid level gear with mats. You can farm honor by dive bombing players. The entire game is you either traveling, fighting stuff or gathering resources to get better at fighting stuff. If you can gather resources faster than everyone else then it has a huge impact on the game.
Yeah guys we didn’t take out flight, we just don’t put it in until the expansion is over.
Blizzard got you my boi.
I prefer the game being made harder until bum rushing your way through mobs is certain death like it should be. But sure, the game is awful, let’s just kill it with flying and be done with it I guess.
I do it all the time. The only way to stop that is to make every mob in the world elite.
Or you just buff mobs and make regenerating mana and health take longer.
They already made health regen take longer. Seems like I’m always at half health until i get out of combat now. It’s just like starting an expansion every time they add a new zone. You don’t dare try to take on more than a couple at a time. Not a big deal, it’s expected.

that escalated quickly…
Indeed it is. I am also having fun. wq’s knocked out in 15 mins vs 1-3 hours before, hunting rares, collect herbs. So easy now.
I think Naj at 380ish is pretty well balanced. There are some really hairy areas too where you can easily get fried by murlocs or crabs. That’s where just navigating around can be really tricky and fun.
Slow fall isn’t much, but it’s probably really useful in Naj.
Yeah, 15 mins to clear an entire zone of WQ. An 8x to 24x decrease in the amount of time it takes to play the game. Glad to know the data backs up how broken flying is.
That can definitely be fun. The first time I wandered into the crab cave I got rekt hard. Stealthy crabs popped out, and elite crab and like a dozen crablets ganked me hard. I laughed like hell.
I sure don’t want an entire zone to consist of that. But seriously, my health regen out of combat is super slow now. I think it’s like 3k per second or something. If I don’t heal up or eat after a decent pull, I get pretty anxiuous if I pull more before I can get it back near full.
Damage sponges are about as uninteresting as you can get when it comes to designing mobs. And cutting health/mana regeneration is in the same camp.
Yeah, I don’t like that Spriest has so few heals though. I mean you’re a priest for peets sake. I main Holy and never die. When Horde see me I just heal until they get tired and run away.
I agree that too much health is bad, disagree with mana/health regen. Food and water should be a part of the game. That is immersive. It also gives professions like first aid and cooking meaning. If you level your professions, you should get something out of it.
I find myself popping embrace a lot these days. Shadow heal is pretty weak and costs like 25% mana. Bubble is costly as well. Not really complaining or anything, but it’s not a cakewalk out in the new zones, you have to be careful.
Curious to see the difference on my pally when i run him through, I think he’s like 390 or so but he was so easy to level compared to spriest, mage and boomkin.
At 390 probably going to be sitting there killing things forever. At least you have a lot of saves though, if you need them.
I think Spriest feels pretty good and the insanity mechanic is really creative. Pally is just kind of a slog for me right now. My outlaw rogue is the best. Just stealth everywhere and grapple up mountains. That’s probably the prototypical “terrain is the game” kind of gameplay. Outlaw rouge with grapple.
My Outlaw has grapple as well but I’m not a very good rogue. I enjoy Spriest a lot but I think the suicide solution Blizz came up with in legion was a little over the top. That was extremely difficult to master to get any decent damage. Glad they nerfed it after EN.
It was really cool to see some of the most talented players rock it though and leave everyone else in the dust.
I dislike that they nerfed our dots. Their argument is we excel with multidotting and they had to make the dots weaker to compensate. Still feels pretty good and does good damage but we are mostly a dot class. I want my ticks to hurt like hell!
