Flying in Battle For Azeroth

So I have recently dinged 30 on an alt, learned flying from the trainer in stormwind, went to Tiragarde sound and still can’t fly . I did not play WoW during BFA. Is there an achievement I need ? Any help would be great. Thanks

There’s a pathfinder achievement you need to learn on at least one character that then becomes applicable to all characters on your battle.net.

Same type of thing for Shadow Lands as well.

Wowhead has the requirements for each.
