That won’t happen…flight points are here to stay…just need to nudge some of those devs and fix this issue…one reason not being jumped is its consider old content now down there…since the new patch came in for the Emerald Dream area…
Just checked a few others of my alts…and the only character effected by this issue is this one…all my alts still can fly out of the Cravens no issue.

Its old content now for many…I only go down there if Pet Battle stones are offered on pet battles and or Dragon Race purses…easy gold off those…plus extra quests and pet battles when its the first of the month for the Trading post questing…15 Pet Battles one…

I really loathe the caverns… which is why I’m honestly dreading the next expansion and them putting us underground… again… but I get that. I however don’t go if I don’t have to… I won’t even max out renown for that area (and I have for the dreamers already)
I use them every time I long into the game. They are the only guarantee that I will get near to where I am going.
Just a random thought I had as I’ve been rotating through alts today…could the broken flight paths be related to whether a character has killed Fyrakk or not? I noticed that both of my characters that have cleared the raid and completed the story quests are the only ones who can’t take a flight path out of the Caverns, while the other two who haven’t even entered the raid yet can both do so. Maybe that’s related somehow?
I haven’t done the raid on any character but did do the story quests on the tree moving to Azeroth.
Blizzard doesn’t care about the Caverns!
I had no problems on my characters this week and at best one killed Fyrakk on LFR.
I think this might actually be the issue! When Amirdrassil moves into Azeroth, it changes the flight map for the Dragon Isles. But Zaralek still pulls up the old map, which has no flight paths on it since the character is now using the map that has Amirdrassil on it.
So it’s not an addon issue or anything on the user end, but Blizz forgetting to update the flight maps because they’ve also abandoned the zone just like most of the playerbase. Seasonal devs, folks!
They sure spent a lot of time mucking with the rare spawns, though.

I use flight points in and out of the cavern because flying through on a dragon is a pretty good way to get disconnect from the server.
Just looked on the PTR. Copied the latest version of this character over and flew around Bel’Ameth for a while then went to the caverns. It looks like the flightpaths have returned for me. Hopefully it translates to live. Otherwise, I’ll just make sure I have a teleport available if I need to go to the caverns for any reason.
Wow…I haven’t been to the caverns since I maxed out my Loamm reknown. I just flew down there, and yep it’s broken. You can’t fly out of the caverns.
Does the flight map in Zaralek display Amirdrassil/Bel’ameth on it? That’d probably be why the flight paths would be working again, if my hunch is correct that it’s due to calling the wrong flight map for characters who’ve pushed Amirdrassil into Azeroth.

It does and I was able to select it as a destination from the cavern flight path.
So I guess if everything goes well it will be fixed in two weeks or so.

Yep, that’s what it is. The flight map in the caverns shows the old version.
They REALLY should’ve thought of this.

The devs are seasonal just like the majority of the playerbase. Players left Zaralek and so did they. Might as well have it connect to the Shadowlands since that’s also being swept under the rug lol

This has been happening since the patch went live. Nobody could kill Fyrakk until the second week.
Regardless, glad it’s fixed on the PTR and hope it translates to live in a couple weeks.
