Nothing in this game is about ‘needing.’ If you are saying though that later raids will require flasks then there’s a legitimate claim that everyone should be able to afford them (and still be costly too of course) and farming 5-7 hours for one 2 hour consume is a problem that needs to be addressed.
I’d be fine with not having them period, but if that were to happen the next level down of consumes would be the most expensive.
