First off, let’s set aside the fact that ALL of the R3 potions and flasks are disgustingly overpriced in a player controlled free market economy, which means Blizzard has no responsibility or mandate to control the prices.
Second, unless you’re pushing Mythic raids (and as much as I hate being this guy, your armory page suggests that is far from the case), then you absolutely do NOT need them right now.
Whatever your needs are, they can EASILY be covered by a R1 or R2 potion/flask for a fraction of the price, and they should be more than sufficient for Normal/Heroic at this point. Anyone expecting R3 on those items (especially if they are demanding it on Normal) is beyond unreasonable and should be a reason to potentially consider a new group/guild IMO as R3 is just complete overkill for Normal, and debatably one for Heroic. At the very least, a reasonable guild/group leader should recognize that prices are just absurd right now and that the most important thing is just having even a basic version is more important than the entire group sinking ridiculous amounts of gold into this stuff.
With all of that taken into account, if nothing else and you are still hurting that badly for gold, designate an alt for the purpose of mining and herb gathering. Pop a Phial of Truesight for every 30 minutes you work (R1 as the entire purpose is just to see the invisible nodes) and do the loop around the western part of Dorn that’s becoming one of the more popular runs. It’s an easy 10K-30K an hour depending on profession skill level, your knowledge points, and how quick and efficient you are with clearing one full loop with minimal distractions such as fighting mobs you pull on accident.
Or, judging from your achievement list, maybe put your enchanter to work? That’s easily one of the most in demand professions this early in an expansion, especially as people gear up for raids at all levels, Mythic dungeons, and then inevitably need to enchant gear again at it gets replaced.
I’m always amazed at how frequently people come to the forums to complain about the prices rather than use the tools available to them to actually be the ones making a profit.
But no, I suppose it’s easier to blame everyone else and demand a developer to do something ridiculous to “fix” the prices.
