After several basic troubleshooting efforts including uninstall wow and all of blizzard, disabling several startup programs and processes, etc., even resetting my entire computer I still get a flashing white screen on launch.
The music plays in the background, and the screen turns white and flashes quickly, as if trying to launch over and over again.
All of these things have worked intermittently, but never twice in a row.
PS. Other games such as Starcraft 2 work, as well as non-blizzard games such as Balder’s Gate 3.
I have this exact problem on my laptop and cannot figure it out. It appears that there are no solutions?

Launch DxDiag: The DirectX Diagnostic Tool will launch, and it will start gathering information about your system.

Allow Progress to Finish: The tool will display a progress bar at the bottom left. Allow the progress to complete.

Save the Report: Once the progress is complete, click “Save All Information”.

Choose a Location and Save: Select a location to save the file, such as your Desktop, and save it as a text file (dxdiag.txt).

Exit DxDiag: Once the file is saved, click “Exit” to close the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
