I just recently updated to Mojave 10.14.4 and I have a 2017 era iMac with a Radeon Pro 570 4 GB.
I have been having a strange issue where when I click my screen gains clarity and brightens slightly. This happens with both right and left click and continues until I release the button. It affects performance slightly, dropping frames. It does not occur during loading screens or in the main menu.
I tried switching to “windowed” mode and it does not occur in that mode.
I have cleared cache, deleted addons, etc. All the normal stuff and nothing improved.
I searched for quite some time and couldn’t find anyone with a similar issue.

Edit: Turns out this may be a native resolution issue with Mojave. I messed around with native resolution and set the res to default (2560x1440) rather than the “more space” option (3200x1800) as it seemed to fix the issue.
