Flameshaper rework

Gonna quote from my mega-post to link feedback in this thread:

I used to want a full Flameshaper rework because I don’t like the Consume mechanic; I would welcome one, but I think it can work if they just make each Pyre Consume like a mini-Engulf, so you only care about the Fire Breath on your main target, and make all the pieces interact more with each other, through some effect like Everburning Flame that gives you more Fire Breath to Consume from your Twin Flames.

It would feel a lot more fire-y if it actually used Enkindle and Twin Flame meaningfully and all of its spells had real visuals. If you squint, you can almost see the recycled Pyre animation for Consume Flame while channeling Disintegrate. Blink and you’ll miss the Twin Flames. I want to see more explosions and fire torrents bouncing around.

These would be great cosmetic glyphs, too bad those don’t make money (seriously guys, make more glyphs, you can even put them in the shop, I’ll pay for them).

Absolutely not. And please stop with the “Disintegrate bot” stuff. Disintegrate is our single-target spender, it will always be the most important button in our kit, no spec is ever going to completely eliminate it, Flameshaper needs to do more with it, not less.

Although on the Eternity Surge topic, I did imagine once that it might be neat if Eternity Surge proc’d Consume Flame instead of Disintegrate, so it triggers from Scintillation on two targets and you uprank Surge in aoe for big booms.

Flameshaper needs to care about Blue spells and have options that make good use of them; it already gets very poor value out of Blue talents because most of them don’t feed back into Fire Breath damage for Consume Flame. I don’t want it to be like Spellslinger Arcane Mage where you just ignore Arcane Missiles. Dev is a class built around both Red and Blue Dragonflight magic (plus Black and you are already opting out of that one by not playing Scalecommander), it should use Blue magic to amplify its Red spells (e.g. Catalyze) and its Red magic should amplify its Blue spells (e.g. Enkindle). Anyone who wants an ‘only fire’ class can play Fire Mage (and hope Frostfire isn’t meta).
