It can’t be skipped.

Ye you get the floating pop up saying its being skipped but doesn’t complete the quest for hand in.

Same problem. Blizzard’s Response: “One thing you might want to keep an eye on is the Infinite Bazaar vendors in Dalaran. They’ve been known to carry some workaround items, and it’s possible that the Barding might show up there at some point. It’s not guaranteed, but worth checking in regularly.”

pretty sure these vendors have a fixed inventory, and im not sure why blizzard wouldn’t put in a new vendor over telling players to check the vendors in infinite bazaar

Por aqui está a mesma coisa, pedindo um item que é confeccionado e nao há como adquirir. Mesmo aparecendo o diálogo que iria pular essa parte, nao foi o que aconteceu.

Same problem, Moratari speaks, say it’s supposed to be skipped, and quest fails to complete. Have dropped it, picked up again, logged with quest in log, logged without quest in log, flown to areas where there ‘could’ be auctioneers (of course in timerunning there is none) and can’t complete quest.
Looks like Blizzard really dropped the ball on class mounts. Only four classes can complete their class mount questline.

i waited 2 days for them to fix the missing npc in dal bank, just to get to another broken quest..

Playing a pally and i can’t also complete it. need Stonehide Leather Barding.
I switched to norm mode from heroic mode and it showed up right away. Try that?
