I was able to do it with CoS just going to an “outside” location inside the instance. Also as far as Arathi Basin Blacksmith, only works with consumable version of toy

Still not working… Are we going to have to wait a full year to be able to try again? Really want that Violet Proto Drake. Seems like they should be able to fix this pretty easily. Come on Blizz!!!

same problem. cannot use either the toy or the consumable item. cannot do it in 10 or 25, normal or heroic, in a group, raid, or solo. posting in all the threads!

Kaivax is a Community Manager, someone who can respond on half of the developers.

But generally, AFAIK they don’t respond to players. Every CM post in Bug Reports I’ve seen is announcing on behalf of the devs that a fix action is in work for some widespread and egregious bug. But not because players are asking for their response.

Sounds like the easiest solution that I read above is to just remove NAXX from the requirement for the achievement, hopefully they can figure it out before the event ends

I too cannot use the love fool, all last week I searched every part of naxx to see if there was a single spot where the love fool would become usable. I see they are trying to fix this and I hope that it will get done in the maintenance tomorrow.

One of the requirements is to … not be in a Raid Instance.

That will need to be removed from the Love Fool items for you to even be able to fudge it a bit to get it working. Ideally they also count the hub area of Naxx as Outdoors or remove that requirement from the Love Fools specifically while in Naxx or something since that’s the other thing stopping it from working.

If it’s not working for you there’s basically no shot until they put out a fix. Here’s to hoping for tomorrow, but we’ll see.

Whelp. Patch is released and this still isn’t working. I guess this shouldn’t come as a surprise. Maybe we will be able to finish the holiday meta achieves next year.
