Same issue. Returned 10 eggs in a row, got the cry from above, and no matriarch and no mount. Running the macro shows no progress. Returned the next day with another egg at the nest and still no progress. In fact, I have multiple toons doing activity in Korthia and a toon that had progress of 2/10 eggs according to Handy Notes gets no further credit for turning in eggs. It’s like my account is flagged as having the mount and yet I have no mount. ((SIGH))

Same issue, turned in 4 eggs, same “cry of gratitude” emote, every script and tracker says 0/10, still bugged, Blizz still not caring about years-old bugs. It’s the exact same thing with the friendly alpaca, 10 days of feeding it, 10 days of little heart emotes, 10 days of farming greens, no alpaca, every script shows 0/7. Why do we bother giving Blizz money?

I just turned in 10 eggs for this mount, not knowing there was an issue. The mother came and she cried out in gratitude 10 times and then just hovered there. I PAY to play this game. Not to waste my time and money. And that is starting to be how I feel. I do not care if it is old content. We bought it and pay to keep playing it. The powers that be need to think about that because people are getting sick of it. Peace.

Same thing still happened, turned all 10 in at once and nothing. Then turned started turning them in once a day to see if that worked and still nothing. Help BLIZZARD

Same issue here as of July 7, 2024. 12 eggs turned in, script says 0/10 turned in. Dusklight Mattiarch just hovers there crying gratefully, but unwilling to show me how grateful with my mount.

Same here. 11 eggs submitted, No mount. I don’t care that the script is broken, I’m choked about losing a week grinding for eggs. I’m old and grumpy… aint got no time fo dis.

Also having issues with the lost razorwing egg count not increasing. A lot of people are catching up on old content while waiting for prepatch and it sucks that I just wasted my time on this because of the bug.

I’m collecting a second set of 10 eggs while I wait for this issue to be resolved. Not sure if I’m going to try submitting them again but at least they’ll be there ready to go.
What does it take to get Blizz to look into these things… I’m a first timer. Does stuff usually go unresolved for months/years? Seems like a pretty quick and simple fix. If you have the staff that is.
Just a quick update: for the last 4 days Ive been trying to recollect the 10 eggs… today I’m at 7 and coudn’t get the 8th to drop after hours of grinding I decided to run the “broken” script and the response was that I have looted 1 of 1 egg available today and that I have turned in 0 of 10 as usual… what is this 1 of 1 crap when I only have 7 ???

Update: Submitted the 7 eggs as I couldn’t acquire more… nothing happened… 7 more eggs gone. thats 18 in total now. Blizzard. Fix this. Its broken. Very very broken.

I turn in 10 eggs at same time and no mount, since then i have turn in over 10 eggs 1 to 2 daily and still no mount…

13 eggs given, zero mounts given. Handynotes addon confirms that the game has registered 0/10 eggs given, so it’s not just “try another 10 and hope for the best”, it’s basically confirmed that they are never registering, and never going to.
GM told me to file a bug report, so here I am -_-
I get that the underlying bug might be hard to fix, this is quite a unique mount aquisition method, but after three years couldn’t they do something like add the mount to a Korthia vendor and make the eggs the currency?

Had the same bug happen to me today at 9 PM EST. it confirms that 10 eggs were placed in the nest, but the mother does not come down or move from where she is.

Just happened to me tonight. 11:30pm CDT.
Turned in all 10 Lost Razorwing Eggs, got “A cry of gratitude rings out from above.” each time, and then nothing. The Dusklight Matriarch stayed flying above.
Week’s worth of grinding, gone. And now I see it’s been an issue for months with no resolution. It’s very frustrating and disheartening when there are broken features that aren’t being addressed. It makes it tough to want to continue to play and support the game.

Yes, unfortunately, bugs go unresolved for years with the same canned responses over and over. I guess people who pay to play don’t matter as much as the shareholders and profit.
I’ve been threatening to quit for years, but am so attached to my max-level characters that I haven’t been able to walk away yet. (Been playing since the spring of 2005, so I’ve seen the reduction in real customer service over the years as they favour profits over delivering a quality product. I miss the days of in-game GMs who talked to you and helped resolve issues instead of sending you to wowhead or the forums or “submit a bug report”. All canned responses and probably more than a few AI responses lately. How do we even know there are real people answering our tickets and bug reports?)
