I’ve not won a single flipping roll since this patch hit.
NOT A SINGLE ROLL.
This is across 6 characters, running raid every week. DEAR FLIPPING LORD CAN I WIN A WEAPON??? No?

Go craft a weapon. Faster and better
Thank God for the vault and M+.
You’re not praying to RNGeee Zeus hard enough.
They do need to fix the current loot system for raiding. If gaining gear is why a player joins a raid (and why would it not be) you are not only facing the lousy dice roll of having something available to you, you are facing the lousy dice roll of others also wanting it.
It makes for unhappy players, and unhappy players will eventually just stop taking part in something that makes them unhappy.
Craft a weapon. Is ilvl 658 and is all you need for this season. Also is very easy to do the quest you literally can’t fail if you do the raid in story mode
I think that’s the point, really. Why do a raid if its a weapon you want, why not just make it? The only real point is if its a weapon that has an on-use ability, which crafted guns dont have.
Take the current Undermine raid. For Hunters, there is one gun that has an on-use ability (there is a bow, but it has no ability). That’s one item off one boss for the whole raid. So as the Hunter you are fighting through to Mug’zee and then live in hope that not only will the gun arrive on your screen, but that you will win it against any other hunter who might be in the raid.
That gun might be nice to have but it can also be sort of frustrating trying to get it.
We’re all feeling it, I’ve got nothing but garbage and with the currency caps I quit until they sort their stuff out. Don’t eat the way they want us too.
Are you rolling need where you are able to? Because if you are always rolling at the highest priority, I genuinely do not believe your claim that you didn’t win an item running the raid thirty-something times at a bare minimum.
If this was even remotely true, then the game would’ve died off back during vanilla. As it stands, no - folks don’t think like this in terms of the game.
Puff is like the the bow from raze (SF frost raid tier) or the 2 handed axe from the last raid in DF? It feels ba d it having it coz it does a lot of damage.
LFR, right? Blizzard thinks if you don’t get any gear in LFR it will addict you to competitive mythic+ and mythic raiding.
Assuming this character is your main and Enhancement is your main spec, get a Charged Facesmasher crafted. Should run you in the neighborhood of 20 - 30K including tip for 675. Do 3 T11 Delves for two weeks to get yourself the Enchanted Gilded Crest. Load it with a missive that grants Mastery and Haste along with a Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension. And then enchant it with Stonebound Artistry. You now have yourself a BiS weapon way better than anything you’ll get out of LFR.
I’m in the same boat as you with rolls.
I have more luck with the vault than raids. I’ve won a pair of vambraces on my priest, and everything else on every other character has come from the vault.
You’re just unlucky. and weapons are worthless.
With the way the game is now for loot: Raid is just the optional desert.
The main courses are M+ and crafting, with Delves as an appetizer.
Exceptionally unlucky, or lying because they lost on specific items they wanted but won other stuff and forgot about that.
Items that are usable by all classes and roles have a ton of competition so winning will be terrible odds. Anything with a specific mainstat or armor type is a lot easier to win if only rolling against 4-6 others. 1:5 odds isn’t a moon shot, that’s still a fair chance of getting something every week.
Just don’t be a paladin/hunter/druid because LFR is stuffed to the gills with them and will naturally have more competition.
It’s 2H strength weapons and caster weapons that will have the highest competition on average.
Ya, I’m. It running M+. Mythic plus is the biggest mistake in this games history.
Why is that? It’s rather the greatest innovation (even though it’s just ported over from Diablo 3.)
It’s gotten worse by removing affixes and just having number go up at the high end.
