FIX THIS TRASH

Horde isn't getting free anything. We get the 10% because we fight for it.

I've been seeing the Alliance wpvp recruiting threads, which make me happy, so I'm hoping that y'all are getting it together to bring things back into better balance.

getting more alliance to pvp isnt how this is going to balanced you knuckle dragger. there is a sheer pop imbalance you could have 100% of alliance actively warmoding and it'd still equal like 60% of the horde pvpers. how is it this hard to grasp? why does your pride keep you from facts?

I am SO SICK of this biased piece of crap. Usually I just ignore it but when you're giving Horde a free 10% buff that is bull shi.

Either scale the reward based on which faction is at a disadvantage, or delete this pathetic failure from the game in 8.1

Call the WAAAAAHmbulance!!!! Someone tried pee vee pee and got all angwy!

Facts, you say?

(120s)
United States:
Alliance 45.25%
Horde 54.75%

Brazil:
Alliance 34.66%
Horde 65.34%

Latin America:
Alliance 37.41%
Horde 62.59%

Oceanic:
Alliance 50.03%
Horde 49.97%

All US Realms:
Alliance 44.96%
Horde 55.04%

RP Realms:
Alliance 53.78%
Horde 46.22%

NonRP Realms:
Alliance 44.22%
Horde 55.78%

Granted not everyone (of either faction) goes with WM on (I don't on my hunter as I'm a terrible hunter who is only interested in peeling the skin off animals and digging up rocks.) But your claim that "100% of Alliance actively warmoding would equal like 60% of the Horde pvpers" is not based on any facts at all.

The Horde on RP realms are almost as outnumbered as the Alliance are on Non RP realms. Which realms are the ones that are gaining the reputation for more balanced WPvP populations? Yep, RP realms - because the Horde, while outnumbered, are willing to fight for it. If that makes me a knuckle dragger, so be it.
Ive had WM on since release and it is a problem but it seems horde group up a lot more then alliance

Always see big raids of horde ganking its been this way but just because horde cant 1v1 and they need a huge group doesnt mean alliance should be turning off WM

About 3 weeks or so after release of BFA I noticed a lot of alliance turning off WM and it just sucks it shouldnt be allowed maybe they could have a 1 week delay after you turn it off and make it account bound so if you have WM on it stays on for all toons. idek xD
this !@#$ where a 111 lvl with leggos can beat 2 120 is fkn %^-*, get it together, ive lost 8 friends from this crap cuz game is sick unbalanced, should we all leave or wtf?

It doesn't help that 90% of horde players are effing a-holes.
"10% equates to literally days or weeks of work."

Then why are so few ally doing warmode then? If it's so important more people would find a way to do it.

You need to stop thinking of warmode as something you deserve... It's a reward for risking getting ganked.

I do think it sucks that the factions are imbalanced... I would rather be on the outnumbered side tbh... It's hard to rustle up world pvp

if Blizzard wants to add rewards for the risk of getting ganked then they should try...oh...I dunno...PvP only servers or something.

Or make getting ganked something you can toggle on or off in your home city

Wait...

Tried to do WM again today and a kill this rare mob quest had a cycling 15-20 horde pack sitting on it. It has a fast respawn so even when they all leave enough come to camp it that I couldnt get it done. There were 4 alliance in the zone for this btw. I enjoy pvp but this, this isnt pvp we might as well just be a rare mob at this stage. That is why Alliance turn it off, even those who would like to pvp cant unless we join a large group and if we do that then we cant complete the WQ's.

When all I want to do is PvP it is fine, but if I want to do WQ's its not worth it to have WM on as it takes 4-5 times longer than without

If a game makes you this angry, then there should be alternate things in your life to balance the internal battle you seem to be experiencing.

There are a lot of servers that are weighted one way or another. True RP servers seem to be the exclusion and our server itself is the largest 1:1 ratio server that exists NA. Both sides have access to the benefits of warmode. Period. If you have a hard time playing your class in warmode, find a group of like minded people to help you out. or as someone simply put it to me when i was a pleb, "get good". Or an alternative notion, play a stealth class (oh wait you're a rogue, wtf?). I was able to hold a Horde Assassin buff leveling from 110-120 with no deaths as a rogue, on a server that is notorious for hunting my kind. I have faith you could too.

Then turn off warmode, get the wqs done, then turn it back on when you feel like pvping. I know people that do that, and they get their stuff done and then have fun pvping. The 'bonus' isn't really worth it, when you get right down to it. Even for horde. I was having the same issue the other day. Group of 10+ at a wq and I couldn't complete it, because I was either camped or in a raid group. That's what the 'bonus' for wm is for, tho. For the risk of getting ganked and camped. However, it shouldn't be the -sole- reason for flagging up in wm. You'd just be disappointed and frustrated with all the ganking that goes on, on both alliance and horde sides.

This isn't Blizzard's problem to fix.

This is a completely optional feature that is equal on both sides, Horde and Alliance. It's not Blizzard's fault that one faction is participating far more than the other, and there is no real way to fix it so that it would be equal, or fair for the less numerous side.

Nobody likes to be ganked, but it has happened since the beginning. It's not more prevalent now just because of War Mode; old school players who leveled up on PvP servers will tell you the exact same thing: ganking and numbers are part of the World PvP experience.

Now it's not for everyone. But telling Blizzard to fix it is like demanding an ice cream vendor to give you a free cone because after you paid for your ice cream cone a bully came by and slapped it out of your hands.

If you are having difficulty dealing with being ganked, then look for safety in numbers. Join a Guild who have members willing to help each other out in the world. Social communities are also a great way to keep yourself safe. If you're getting camped, use the Group Finder to hop to a different server temporarily. There are ways around it without turning War Mode off, as most would recommend.

This is true. But fix it they will.

Look at that....sweetening the pot. Still don't think this will change anything. Thing is - aside from alts - who will be doing WQ come 8.1? If no one has a need to do WQs - then fewer will bother. Might be nice for alts - then again....maybe the lower pop faction will just get spite camped.
A rogue complaining about pvp? Oh lawd.

Wait...

Provided you can get there as your body is camped for 20 minutes while suffering through 2 minutes rez wait times. To have the home city as the only toggle point shows how stupid the whole concept is; it should be available to turn off at the moment of rezzing. Oh...there shouldn't be any PvP bonuses not available to those who don't elect war mode.
Blizzard is apparently going to adjust the war mode bonus for population imbalance in 8.1. We'll see whether it works or whether it's too little, too late.
I wouldn't care if they gave you whiny punks 50 or 100% more bonus. If it gets you out where we can farm you that's a win in my book.

It's a feature where you enable PvP .... for better PvE rewards as you PvE.

It was doomed to fail, and the outcome was clear as day.

It makes sense. Pvp slows down pve progression while out in the world. So they boosts your progression to equal things out. It's really simple?
