Technically the original vanilla client didn’t interact with the z access well and they couldn’t track it server side i believe, but alas we aren’t even on that client.

Private servers with dev teams of less than 10 people that basically were volunteers did 10x better stopping teleport hacking than blizzard has done with classic.
That’s the really depressing information and they have made ZERO posts about teleport botting that you can literally watch happen in game everyday.

If they say it then it’s real and their investors get scared because their platform has been compromised. They will NEVER admit it is happening.
I don’t think that is correct.
The reason it isn’t fixed is one reason: Poor management.
Whomever is at the helm of this game should be fired and replaced by a person who respects consumers.

I haven’t even bothered to try to farm lotus, was kind of pointless, is it still an issue? If it’s an issue I’ll keep out till it’s fixed.
We’re pretty much forced at this point to buy from/deal with bots and gold farmers. Blizzard’s inaction+a year full of only 3 ‘big’ banwaves means that these guys have been able to stockpile ungodly amounts of materials/gold on alts that are living on accounts that they don’t bot on. Banwaves with these massive gaps in between, plus not fixing the ROOT ISSUES that Blizzard claims these delayed banwaves help identify and fix… Yeah the bots control the markets entirely now, and honestly if they all actually get banned at this point, including their mules, server economies would likely crumble. They have such a gargantuan stock of items that removing them entirely from the market would skyrocket prices worse than they have been
To be clear, I dont buy gold, but I know for sure I’ve likely bought lotus/sold boosts to gold farmers because not doing so would be almost impossible. Hell, I resisted boosting until all my normal farms in the open world were destroyed by the massive population/botting issues, and consuming became difficult without a solid flow of income.

Yup still an issue. Bots are teleport hacking to farm lotus + doing it inside raids to farm them as well.

What information do you have to support any of these claims? This isn’t a sarcastic post I’m genuinely asking. I frequently see posts from people who seem to have unprecedented access to behind the scenes activities at the Blizzard offices. Everything from subscription statistics to HR records. Where are you getting all of this proprietary information from?

It would be simple to see player spawning at locations they otherwise couldn’t and back n forth from areas in a speed impossible.
You sound like you use the Hack too, and are cultivating your defense team!

Thats crazy! I was over there questing those Grimtotem druids, and seen like 5-6 lvl 60s spawn behind the Horde camp, alliance included. I was wondering how the hell they all got there…

I feel you, that gnome rogue in EPL is still 24/7 teleport hacking nodes in EPL.
It never logs off never leaves the zone and never actually walks anywhere, but somehow goes undetected all the time.

Yup exactly.
Blizzard messed with multiboxing as a way to appease the masses INSTEAD of stopping these bots.
I get it from the brutal reality of Human nature and psychology when it comes to wealth/money, and power in this day of age.

Lawl, this is one of the best things that blizzard has done to WoW. Im so Happy that I resubbed in order to gloat over the misfortune of all the multiboxers on the forums that once trash talked people on Multiboxing topics.
