Just remove stealth and ability to reduce damage in bear form and we’ll see how good these boomies are

Oh it is fun, I don’t deny that. I often prefer it in open world stuff, especially in the areas of each zone that are dense with elites. On-demand speed boosts, Slow, Greater Invis, clearcast AM, high-stack Barrages.
Im not kidding you man, honestly i was surprised. I was talking trash on discord saying “lol im going to destroy this trash arcane mage” and this dude just starts straight wrecking me with LOS and single spell steals around pillars before bursting me. It was honestly a humbling moment.

Im okay with stealth, id say reduce healing like 30% and Damage reduction in bear form 40% and yeah, we’ll see how it turns out. Right now they are full tanks that wreck.
I would also DR Clone with bear stun so they can’t chain you, stun, clone, root, Solar beam, clone, dead. It seems a little excessive from a single spec.
But I still stand by my previous statement, you don’t interrupt convoke, its your fault if you die.

Ever since I discovered the nice combo of touch of the magi, arcane echo talent and arcane missiles spam. Its become my go to on muti target. Plus with my time anomaly talent any all the free time warps it gives. I really enjoy it.
I tend to combine those I mentioned with arcane power, deathborne and mirror image.

Interesting, I’ll have to see if I can find some videos similar to it. I’m always game to give the spec a try in more challenging content.
It honestly isn’t that bad of a spec per say. Yes fire was massively buffed in the damage department but I’ve never see arcane as the big damage dealer. I see it more as the quicker one. The one that gets spells out at such a fast rate that it feels like being hit with a semi.

What? Who on their right mind moves to arcane?
Like, I guess venthyr’s covenant ability got buffed but Nadija’s haste buff can be counterproductive to arcane and theothar just makes you mobility issues with rune worse.

In pvp they are easily countered. Save ur stuns and silence for there convoke and ur good, as a balance alt I get my convoke off 1/10th of the time in pvp the rest is instant stuns or silences

None of my mages are night fae so I have nothing to worry there. Just like none of my locks, hunters or druids.
I went necrolord because I love deathborne.
I also find boomkins to be a little too good at everything currently

Well, yeah, themathically it’s the best of the three.
This is my mage, I’ll be arcane to the death but sometimes it is disheartening when a 75 parse will net me lower dps than an afflo lock 66 parse lol
I do love it in mythic + and it’s the only thing I do on this toon now. Sadly for you, altho missile spam with TotM can be fun it doesn’t compare in damage to back to back 21k crit barrages with bombardment leggo
