Not sure if it is a dream team, but I’d love to see this matchup between Gladiator caliber players.

3 frost mages
2 holy paladins
All 5 engineers
This seems right. The pally/warrior synergy is huge. You want a 2nd healer and Priest goes best with Paladin. Mage gives you CC, slows, ranged DPS, counterspell, and decurse. The flex spot is the Rogue, which I think you could sub for a Hunter and so similarly well.

Warlock, Mage, Shaman, Priest, Rogue
You may, at any time, exchange the Rogue/Mage/Warlock for a Hunter, however the Hunter need be exceptional.
Although Horde has a clever little skill called Will of the Forsaken, Alliance May edge out Horde here if the proper races for the PvP encounter have been chosen (e.g. Dwarf Stoneform).
Lots of burst here. Heals and dispels are abundant and element of surprise can be had.

I like it, but I’d swap a Warrior in for the Alliance Rogue or Warlock. Gets you a MS and also is less gimped by WotF and Hardiness.

Completely agree here. Warrior in lieu of Rogue especially or Warlock as well would be a fantastic substitution. I just happen to prefer the gameplay of the others so… you may have uncovered my bias. Lol.
Well seeing how the group needs to be able to handle outnumbered hunters and warlocks might be out because they are the ones who would be outnumbering the other group.
Having a hunter who can track down enemies and range slow them seem necessary. The aoe slow that hunters have is huge so they are probably good to have with your team and their flare.
The dream team always has track humanoids and anti ambush capabilities.

classic is about match ups so its going to depend on what you are fighting. that said, ill play along so heres my choice. this would also be a good dungeon team

My family and I are a party of 4. We’ve decided on rogue mage warrior and priest. I couldn’t dream a better team than this.
