Doesn’t really stop things like thunderfury though or other massive one handers like silent crusader and all that. Fist weapons seem to hang on the smaller side of the weapon groups generally, with some of them randomly being pretty big, but not even close to most 1h swords/axes/maces.
There’s this one fist weapon that comes to mind that looks like two ginormous fists and looks ridiculous when unsheathed. I think Having them sit at the hip or wherever would be too large.
I like that we have one invisible weapon type. Sometimes weapons get in the way of good transmog.
There was a hot second where some fist weapons were viewable when sheathed in BFA, they went on the back, and it was weird. Might have also been a bug.
I’m guessing the reason they don’t do it is because there’s no uniform shape for fist weapons, and some of them look small like they could comfortably rest on your hip, while others look…like the bladefist.
Also off-hands sheathing on the hip was a bad decision because they didn’t actually do a quality pass for how they would sheath and most of them are upside-down or just rest way too far forward from your hip…or both… There are a handful of neat looking ones, like a staff off-hand that sheaths on your back.
They may be able to have some of those stay invisible when sheathed then, or at least go on your back if they are too big for the hip. Best solution is a toggle though
I think having it be invisible is fine, I’m not trying to take away options here id much rather add more. So ideally it just becomes a toggle, can choose to sheathe off hand on hip and if you don’t choose that toggle it stays the way it is.
