Fishing skill levels come from fishing within the zone that matches that expansion skill.
- Go to the fishing trainer for that expansion, get fishing skill.
- Go go the zone that has those fish (fishing in Stormwind won’t give skillups). Head to the actual zones.
- Fish
- Profit!
If you are not getting skill ups it means you did not buy the training for that expansion, most likely.
