Bit after the fact, but the first time I ran this I ran into the platform with the same issue. I teleported and immediately agroed an entire pack. What’s more, my pet was missing. It took me a few seconds of running around like a chicken to realize it was dead. Somehow, it died between portaling, which was not handy when I got dumped into a pack of mobs. Next time I ran Mort, never saw this happen. So, I’d say there is some RNG involved in mob packs. And its not fun getting dumped into them.
