don’t ever trinket sap on an opener
Thanks for the tips, we will keep practicing them. just got frustrated last night, dont mind losing but damn, dying in legit 1 second is insane. Seeing 31k hp just vanish in a blink of a eye is shocking lol
If your healer trinkets sap, he’s the problem here.
Tell your healer to not trinket sap you disarm rogue on his open and cc or kite away the mage on his combust…congrats you just survived the open
he only does it because he sees my life disappear , not like he gets sapped and trinkets for no reason. Just a lose/lose it seems to me. Either he stays sapped and i explode or he trinkets into a blind and i explode lol
Thats nothing compared to the convoke shiz. Literally hit spell reflect only to get hit with another 12k and then 4k right after sucks. I last 1 second longer in arena vs them.
Ginna sound rough but trink the rogues cheap or if he mark kidney opens trink that and immediately disarm him then your healer won’t even have to think about trinking a sap
If you trink sap we will just reset then full blind gg
Fire mage damage is just too high at the moment with combustion.
I legit just went 100-0 while in a preemptive 70% darkness. Knew it was coming, had stopped all their goes, they finally landed a 4 second sheep on my healer, I had darkness down immediately, I’m stunned and dead 3 seconds later. Not sure what you can do about that, but Darkness needs to be 70% wall and not 70% chance.
LOL ya. I feel ya there, my reflect and my interupt was on cd, boomkin convoked me, went from 90 percent life to dead in a blink of a eye lol 3 starsurges for 13k bent me over.

After you survive the open just disarm the rogue every time you see dance

You have honor gear that still needs to be upgraded, you’re missing multiple enchants, missing a gem slot, etc. That’ll help quite a bit to survive an opener. But you have to remember that mage/rogue will basically blow everything they have in the opener to kill you, so don’t feel shy to pop all your defensives (disarm, DBtS, defensive stance, spell reflect, intervene to escape, trinket immediately, etc). If you’re having trouble with 2dps, I’d consider doing wargames with some friends until you have surviving down to a science. Eventually it’ll all be muscle memory and you won’t even consider the idea of dying in an opener.
Depends on the healer if I blow full load on the open I prefer to save my sblades for the 2nd or 3rd go because people are so scared of the first open that they blow all the defensive and trinket so the 2nd go is usually free depending on what the comp we are going against is
Yeah it depends on the healer too. Priests for example have a ton of defensive cooldowns to deal with resets so long as you chase down the rogue’s partner to stay in combat after the opener. Generally if we survive the opener and my partner doesn’t get stuck behind a pillar while I’m across the map, it’s hard to lose.
Tbh vs priest once we get your trinket we can go u and kill you in a 6 sec kidney if mage has combust back up which with shifting power and everything its only about a min cd
