Looking for some incite into playing my character better now that I’m looking to “graduate” from casual player to semi-hardcore player and to do that, parses need to be better than green.
I’ve looked into countless articles and videos to correct rotation/stats/enchants/consumables and I can’t seem to get anything higher than like 2 blue parses in naxx. My gear score is 4.2k and I have enchanting and tailoring as my professions.
It’s been a long time since I played wotlk, but isn’t fire very crit dependant that early on? Therefore arcane being better early on?
Arcane is better, but fire is still a choice (also imo its best to play what you enjoy while you have the chance in wotlk, unless what you enjoy is ret pallylmao).
As for OP, remember that in wotlk right now people have nothing better to do than put up parses. This means that for the absolute top parses, they’re joining groups specifically designed for that; burning through PIs/getting tricks and killing most bosses in 1 to 2 minutes. To graduate from blue parses, you need more than personal performance.
That being said, Ulduar comes out in four days. New tiers are the perfect time for actually gauging your strength/performance and attempting to “level up”. Try to find a good guild!
