Fire mage is so powerful that we need to nerf warlock

I agree with nerfing warlock. As a water boy I am flooded with accepting invites to groups/raid, or dungeon. I am so fun to play; I agree! Nerf Warlocks! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

How about we just leave them all alone?!?!

I would love MM nerfs and demo buffs, maybe survival and demo will be allowed to be good for awhile.

Excuse me, I think they should just buff convoke and fire mages. We didn’t see enough balance druids and mages in the MDI.

No argument here. I am in the uncomfortable position where I am not a fan of the current iteration of Aff, but I am also playing a spec that is average or just unplayable in other content in Demo. So I’ve shelved my lock. My mage just feels better to play literally everywhere, and I’m playing arcane.

VDH/Disc/Fire Mage x 3 would be glorious. Thinking about watching the MDI crash and burn in such spectacular fashion is giving me the vapors.

After BfA where MM was dogwater, I’ll have to disagree.

They added a rule where you can’t stack classes…guess why? So people wouldn’t stack fire mages LOL

To each their own. :man_shrugging:t6:

I personally wouldn’t lose any sleep if MM was never good again tbh. I wound up re-rolling because BM and survival are both trash in comparison and MM makes me a sad panda.

Made me actually lol

Whoever designs affliction warlocks doesn’t do or enjoy 5 man content. There’s no way even a sadist would come up with this spell list.

Afflic has a ton of dots to manage in order to even get the most out of MR. So the fact that the reward for having to juggle so many dots and have like 20 WA set up so you can track them is a nerf while boomies and fire mages are untouched…yikes.

The warriors I have grouped with in dungeons are straight killing it, literally.

Lifted from icy veins 9-24th place in m+ DPS

  1. Affliction Warlock (B-Tier)
  2. Survival Hunter (B-Tier)
  3. Frost Mage (B-Tier)
  4. Arcane Mage (B-Tier)
  5. Havoc Demon Hunter (B-Tier)
  6. Enhancement Shaman (B-Tier)
  7. Retribution Paladin (B-Tier)
  8. Fury Warrior (B-Tier)
  9. Assassination Rogue (B-Tier)
  10. Beast Mastery Hunter (B-Tier)
  11. Frost Death Knight (B-Tier)
  12. Elemental Shaman (B-Tier)
  13. Feral Druid (C-Tier)
  14. Destruction Warlock (C-Tier)
  15. Arms Warrior (C-Tier)
  16. Demonology Warlock (C-Tier)

Now considering almost what seems to be the sole focus Blizzard has is to push M+… Affliction is considered the UBER spec to play? I never seem to run into another one besides me, and it is B tier. Probably because it is a migraine nightmare pain in the … to play. Oh and it is right next to Survival Hunter. Well that speaks loads. You can see where the other 2 specs lie.

WoW…

There’s your problem. That’s basically the daily mail of WoW sources.

Nerfing warlocks thats a joke.

Playing Affliction feels like this most of the time

If they wanted people to play Necrolord Warlock, maybe they shouldn’t have gutted Decimating Bolt.

haha, what a useless list. i’ve seen arms warriors and destruction warlocks absolutely wreck content in dps.

keep sheeping, sheep.

That’s hilarious. And it’s true. And I actually play affliction (I apparently hate myself).

Honestly - if not for the issues inherent in actually removing a class - I’d think they were moving toward that.

I wouldn’t even mind. Merge me into Demon Hunters.

Affliction already has massive overlap with Shadow Priests (and some with Unholy Death Knights). Destruction and Fire clearly overlap … you know … except for the green fire option. And Demon Hunters already have Metamorphosis, so… Demonology is a match made in heaven.

And I don’t even like playing Demonology, but I’ll take it.

Plus, it’s not like there are actual “good” warlocks in the game. Send me off to the Illidari.
