Cheers. Yeah Im not a retail hater really. It just isn’t for me. But I can understand why people like it. And in general the pvp was fun.
Mages can also stealth tho. so it’s effectively 3 stealth classes now. Which felt weird for me. But I guess it’s not the end of the world.

I couldn’t imagine leveling 1-60 like 2019 again. We forsure didn’t want that again. 1-60 era with no QoL is for gold buying andies.
I do agree there are too many runes. They could have had 20 runes all of SoD. Instead we have 19 runes at Lvl 40. How many more runes/slots do we have to go? Not even retail has this button bloat potential.
Overall SoD is good for the 12 month server it’ll be.
Bring on SoD2.

SoD is a travesty. There is a charm and pull to it because of familiarities and such, but the closer you get the worse it begins to smell. It is too far from the departure of WoW classic to make any kind of sense at this point. It’s literal blasphemy and we all know it. I call it “ditto” wow classic. This is what happens when you get rid of the real gamers in the room and replace them with fresh college grads and AI. Blizz can actually suck a big fat one.(they are probably into that imo)

You still have WoW Classic. There is literally no reason to not be playing Classic Era if that’s your thing. At this point, its not even about Season of Discovery. Its about you finding anything under the sun to complain about. That’s what you do. You complain.
You also don’t like thay you are in the minority, so you have to shout it from the rooftops as if that’s going to make your tiny little sad community be even larger than it actually is. And the fact that this is your only post on these forums tells me everything I need to know. You’re here to whine and that’s it.
Yea. I’m liking SOD but I would’ve really liked fresh vanilla servers. I think when lvl 60 cap unlocks and the whole world is open, SOD will feel a lot better. And more like original vanilla. Being locked into lvling zones for months really makes it feel different.

yep. the one thing i hate is the homogenization of classes. Everyone can do everything is literally what we have in Retail WoW. Blizz could have simply improved upon the existing classes and specs with QoL changes and some talent changes. Add some new raids/dungeons with gear and it would have been great. But dont give entire new specs to classes. Rogue tank? garbage, Melee Hunter also garbage, and it does more than any other traditional melee and it brings buffs. Traditional melee is now obsolete. Healing mages…eww. Aggrend seems to be buffing streamer classes though because he simps for their attention and he wants them to promote this bastardized version of WoW. I might as well go play Turtle wow which is free.
I get that not all games should be made for everyone but to come along and change vanilla to be more palatable for retail wow players is wildly insulting after how successful classic was.
If they released a new progressive content release classic server instead of solo self found hardcore SoD would die over night. I mean heck i hate hardcore with a passion but ill prob play solo self found because what other option do i have at this point? Playing era on Whitemane is cringe and doesn’t hold a candle to how fun 2019 classic was.
Its not our fault you cant make a game as good as classic and its just stupid from a corporate point of view to not cash in on it.
Wouldn’t be surprised if they are looking at the data and waiting for everyone’s wow tokens to run out before doing classic again.

I haven’t played modern in a while so I don’t really have anything to compare it to. But sure. Classic = Anything an Andy likes. Retail = anything an Andy hates.

Need a safe space? Even if the report does anything its only a forum suspension for a few days. Ill be back and you will still be soft. Also it was already proven by raid logs. More people were on classic than retail when it was out and more people were streaming it also on all platforms. In other words, retail was dead.
