Her entire point is the be the love interest for an Alliance writers “write-in” RP character. And that character isn’t around anymore. So she fulfilled her purpose.

Rhonin is the self insert character of Knaak. There was no Vereesa Windrunner until his character needed a wife.

She was given no speaking roles, and I am pretty sure she was just there for no other reason than it being a Sylvanas climatic scene, and she is a windrunner sister.

I mean obviously we will see who is right. However if they just stuck her there because “Windrunner”, then that is the most boring thing ever and why even bother? Nobody would have said anything if she wasn’t there, but by putting her there… well here we are, discussing her. If they didn’t have future plans for her, why do that?

How is it surprising then, considering how she played major roles in MOP and Legion? She was in the Windrunner’s sister’s comic before BFA, and you didn’t think she’d show up for the confrontation with Sylvanas?

In an expansion where we constantly say “the story writing is bad”, I guess its not a huge leap for me to think this is just one more weak aspect of the same bad story.
