I don’t dislike it.
I loathe it almost more than I hated Renown gates in system lands.
It somehow feels worse than Soar, which you would think shouldn’t be possible but here we are.

You can always tell who the entitled flight babies are when these threads come up. If you even gave it a real chance and learned how to use it properly, you’d know that dragon riding is better than boring air swimming flight by a mile. Sorry you can’t afk fly to quest objectives anymore and that flying actually requires and even rewards active player input. Guess you’ll just have to use your ground mount and flight masters.

I didn’t say they weren’t as people are allowed to be stubborn and ignorant, yes? Again, people need to actually give the system a chance, read the quest text for the quests that introduce dragon riding so they know how to properly utilize it and maybe even use youtube tutorials if necessary.
Dragon riding is fun, very fast and engaging compared to normal flying but you at least have to be willing to give it the old college try instead of trying to utilize a dragon riding mount like a normal flying mount while wondering why you aren’t having fun. Again, don’t be ignorant. lol

Worked fine in the beta. If things are lagging that’s just the launch being a launch. Once it clicks with you then you’re good. Especially once you get glyphs and go thru the story unlocking other abilities

Except there is no grinding, unlike with pathfinder…which doesn’t generally release until months after expansions are released.

I am thoroughly enjoying Dragon Riding. I can’t say how I’ll feel a week, a month or a year from now, but right now I’m loving it.

I tried it on beta and didn’t care for it. I gave it an honest try, it’s just not for me.

That’s fair enough; I only made it to lvl 64(didn’t want to spoil too much story for myself) on the beta and already loved dragon riding but everyone I’ve talked to that actually made it 70 on the beta and maxed out the talents for it told me it’s amazing with all of the talents enabled so I can’t imagine how good it is at that particular point. I implore you to keep trying it and watch some youtube tutorials on how to get the most out of dragon riding before sitting the expac out.
It made me nauseous. At this point I haven’t even bought DF because DR seems unavoidable, the zones really aren’t designed to use a ground mount and quests often require you to go somewhere that is hard/impossible to get to otherwise.
