Final boss of BfA

Ion (N’zoth).

Sylvanas’s little known cousin, Sylvanas Surfrunner.

Exactly. It’s too predictable that it’ll be Nathanos. She’ll have a change of heart at the last minute and thus, he will turn on her.

I don’t know who this is but the name alone is a lot funnier to me than it probably should be.

Ion with a million eyes

Welcome to the Internet, buddy. :joy: It’s gonna happen wherever you go. Don’t like it? Stay off the Internet. Easy.

The final boss will be your bank. You two stand toe to toe deciding on if you should get your sub money back.

Is it sad I know who this is?!?

There were just shards of Xe’ra left after Illidan blasted her, so how is she going to show up?

Eye’on, The Lawyer of the Void.

Nzoth teleports us to the alternate universe of mushroom kingdom where we fight the demigod brothers Mario and Luigi

probably sylvanas with how hard blizzard is pushing the mop similarities, jaina and lor’themar even have the exact same conversation they had in 5.2 about how there can be no peace as long as insert name here is warchief

with blizzard’s writing the obvious answer is the correct one.

It’ll be a battleground against classic servers; the true battle for Azeroth.

Either N’Zoth or some Void commander, which will lead into that storyline.

Sylvanas of course. The writing is on the wall.

I bet we even side with N’zoth against her for some reason.

Is it just me or is this the first expansion in a while (or ever) where the “big baddie” is kind of a mystery? Like you had the Lich King, The Legion, etc… but I feel tossed all over the place with the current narrative.

First I thought they were going to make the daring move of giving the opposing faction the opportunity to slay the faction leader as the final encounter, possibly creating a 3rd or 4th faction and flipping the game on its head.

Then it became more-or-less Sylvannas and not necessarily any other faction leader from either side.

Then Azshara, she’s been talked about for years as having enough flex to carry an expansion on her own.

Then you got N’Zoth, a freakin Old God.

The only reason to have this kind of mystery is because the twists & turns ahead are going to be major. Like I want jaw-dropping “oh no she didn’t” moment that will justify all the writing leading up this expansion’s climax.

As for my guess. Sylvannas making a deal with death that doesn’t go her way, her motivations are truly evil (unlike Garrosh’s) and both factions end her. N’Zoth’s influence bleeds into the next expansion and Azshara’s raid encounter connects all the dots.

I could also be way off since I’m out of the loop mostly because of Classic content. Cheers!

there is a bit of hinting that sylvanas made a deal with nzoth or is being influenced by him. when she gets the dagger thats serves n’zoth her eyes turn black. she is also the one who sends/lures us into azshara’s trap where azshara devestates our fleet and eventually uses the heart of azeroth to free nzoth.

and there used to be a line of text that said “the banshee baited you to your own slaughter…gave azshara what she wants” though this line was changed in the VO wowhead uploaded on youtube, but it is still telling it ever existed to begin with since the ending was likely written out ahead of time

Sargeras was the one who burned out his eyes and infused him with fel.
