Field Medic's Hazard Payout

Thank you so much, Blizzard, for that single mark of honor! What a novel idea to reduce RSS queue times. I mean, who wouldn’t want an extra mark of honor? So many decisions to make now that I have this extra coin in my pocket. It’s a wonderful world!

all healers combined account for 20% of the pvp arena player base. Of those maybe 30% are playing at any given time. Plus each spec has its own priority.

Arena times are long because there are not enough healers. You can’t fix that from a development side; besides halving the number of matches per shuffle.

Incentives could definitely get people to queue up. I haven’t touched it yet because there’s no real incentive due to my elite xmog this season looking like greens you’d get when just boosting a character.

I called out the fact that the lackluster xmog was likely going to hit the queues harder this season, and they’ve done nothing to actually incentivize healing from a monetization perspective, so why bother?

I demand 500g per shuffle win

Nah, 1000g per game is more reasonable. 200 games of heals = wow token = free month of playtime. Solo shuffle would be poppin and players would be more inclined to play and not quit or do something else because of the wait. Pretty sure this benefits players more than blizzards wallet so it would never be a thing. :smiling_face_with_tear:

give me 200g per round with a 3x multiplier for winning a round

So that’s what, maybe 4-5k gold per hour based on average game times? Would need to be more imo.

Even the worst gold farms in the game make more then that. They could easily make it 3k per shuffle and it still would be less gold per hour then something as simple as mining in DF.

mining is trading time for another player’s gold

the suggested change would pump raw gold into the economy, things like that are why gold is as meaningless as it is nowadays

Low % token for an older elite set piece would solve the problem.

so would giving them 5 trillion gold. Doesn’t mean either are realistic.

They buffed healer rewards and gave marks of honor? Ooof.

Maybe the boxes were also supposed to contain gold or something.

But, someone forgot to add them. And Blizzard doesn’t know.

The healers are obviously holding out for 2000 and 2200 solo shuffle achieves.

not like any of the rewards are any good anyways, minus disc priest set and maybe the weapon enchant
