I agree with you. I dont find feral so hard to play, but i do find that it takes near-perfect gear to get rolling to a degree where the time you need to invest in farming gear is what really differentiates good feral from bad in pve…pvp adds a fair bit of playerskill 
And also MOC is a dps gain in AOE situations.
