Let’s be honest—Feral Druids were neglected throughout Cataclysm, and now that Blizzard is finally open to making tuning changes in MoP Classic, it’s long overdue they address the spec’s state in PvE.
We’re seeing them selectively implement PvE-only buffs in MoP, explicitly stating that changes won’t affect PvP balance. That alone proves Blizzard has the tools—and the willingness—to separate tuning where needed. So the excuse that Ferals couldn’t be touched in Cata “because of PvP” doesn’t hold water anymore. They could have helped the spec and chose not to.
Now that the dam is broken, there’s zero reason Feral should be left behind again—especially after an entire expansion of underperformance. The playstyle is high skill, the payoff is inconsistent, and the feedback’s been loud for months.
They’re already tuning around PvE without disrupting PvP integrity—exactly what they refused to do for Ferals in Cataclysm. They had the tools then. They chose not to use them. So if they’re willing to protect PvP balance while making meaningful adjustments now, there’s no excuse not to go back and fix what they ignored for an entire expansion.
Rip becomes contagious. When it ticks on one target, it auto-applies to every enemy within 15 yards.
Shred, Rake, Rip, Ferocious Bite – all main damage abilities increased by 25–50% in PvE. Enough nickel-and-diming. The spec’s been trailing behind the meter for an entire expansion. Time to let the claws breathe.
Rake now slows the target by 50% passively and ticks twice as fast. Because if it’s a bleed spec, let it bleed aggressively.
Savage Roar is now baseline, passive, and applies automatically when you spend combo points. It’s 2025. We can stop pretending juggling a self-buff is compelling gameplay.
Tiger’s Fury cooldown reduced by 50%, now grants 20% haste and energy regen for 10 seconds. Go ahead, Blizzard. Let us break the sound barrier.
