Unless there are suddenly mages casting polymorph on random dps in PvE. there’s no reason to worry about cat form casting battle res

Aight, let me get this straight my fellow Druids.

Feral is one of the least specs played in both PvE and PvP, they usually struggle a lot compared to other viable classes, not only because of their damage(and to be fair, Druids have a lot of utility which makes sense for them not to be top tier, but then again, Moonkins are fine and they have almost the same stuff) but instead of applying QoL changes to make it better, they nerf it?

I mean, it’s not a huge nerf but it’s still a nerf to a spec that needs love. It does not make any sense, at all.

I thought that was kind of the idea. We’re actually a sneaky stealth class. you just jack of all trades your way into it.

there is precedent

ferals used to be able to insta cyclone in pvp. That was changed where they were popped out of form and had to hard cast.

With that said, it should be insta cast and usable in cat form. This change only serves to make a utility spell feel clunky as h3ll.

Isn’t feral’s battle ress instant?

Warlocks is a 2 second cast, so yeah, cry me a river for that lost global cooldown.

Welcome to anyone with a battle rez. I mean at least you lose a cast time. DK’s lose like 60 Runic Power.

And? Literally every other brez besides DK has the 2 second cast time or whatever. Feral was the outlier IN ITS OWN CLASS.

Its one of those annoying changes but not a big deal.

Once a fight, maybe, you will lose 1 gcd to use a BR.

No it’s not instant. We currently need to cast it in cat form. We are complaining that PTR we won’t be able to cast it in cat form anymore.

I am getting tired of druid skills not being able to be cast while in animal form. If you take the talent “Restoration Affinity” you can’t cast rejuvenation in animal form, at least not balance form. If it’s a talent then it should allow you to cast it in ANY form not just non-shapeshifted form. Now they do this crap. Seems like they are slowing down druid rotation more and more and breaking them in the process. :frowning_face:

EDITED: I had typed this when I was tired and put rebirth instead of rejuvenation, lol. Either way both skills can’t be used.

Kleoni doesn’t do instances. What does she care happens to people who do?

The thing here is that it’s about class balance. Not balance within a class’s specs, not balance one spec to comparable specs in different classes.

They are giving something to guardian. They can’t do that in a vacuum, because it would make the Druid class more favorable than other classes. So they had to take away something from another spec. So the class is still, on average, mediocre. As is intended.

They are taking away the brez in cat form I believe due to the fact they are letting us cast remove corruption in cat form… OOOO WEEEE WHOOPDY DOOO! Dumb change. We Feral druids can cast regrowth in form with a Predatory swiftness proc (using combo points give a free insta cast of regrowth or entangle roots). Not rebirth? not a cyclone? well thanks for making it less of a reason to bring a feral. The only good change happening to feral in 8.2 is the pvp esences and even then its a 5% melee crit buff for a weaker version of its ranged caster counter part (boomkin).
