Especially because it’s NOT BIS for you guys at all. You just use the proc then switch weapons. It’s a consumable only you can use.

Well we also wear a low level crafted helm to pull good dps. If we see Classic+ I’d hope to see some remedies. I don’t wish to be top dps. I just wish to be able to do that dps without needing low level items. Heck, a world drop is our BiS tanking weapon for all of Classic!

I mean… feral DPS has never been bad… it’s just that to output decent dps (note I said decent not top tier) you have to put in ridiculous amounts of work and do a convoluted rotation

I know, but it has a 30 minute cooldown, so it’s not like you’re using that most of the time. You use the buff, once it’s gone you switch back.

huh? It has no cooldown lol. The only cooldown that you need to mind is the item equip cooldown of 30 sec if you’re considering swapping to a new MCP. If you use three charges that should last you 90 seconds, at that point if the fight will not last longer than another minute or so then sure you equip a stat stick. If the fight will go longer though then you just eat the 30 sec item equip cd to swap into a new MCP and keep popping charges.

I think he meant pve… Other than off tanks they’re pretty bad
PVP however they’re Flag carrying gods.
resto isn’t bad by any means…it’s just that every other healer spec is better lol

Imagine being a feral druid and using energy, combo points, and CD’s to just create DPS, while other classes - like Warriors and Rogues - are told to not use Rage or Energy because they may pull aggro.
Imagine being a Warlock or Mage and told to just “wand DPS” so you don’t pull aggro.
I would love to see this Druid’s DPS in MC, where the tank can actually taunt for threat, rather than telling people to “stop DPS”. Druid is probably doing everything to get those numbers, and most classes are just letting auto-attack run its course.

No, its really easy to micro. You send it in, it dies, then you don’t have to worry about it for the rest of the raid.

Grats on the druid, he pulled very decent numbers especially considering his class
Of course feral is a lot harder, with a more random itemization, but i respect guys who go the extra mile to kick butt with the non-optimized class.
There are solid logs out there for both Ony and MC of good feral damage, not the best of the best in the world, but definitely better than most.
So chill out a bit gang, let this drood have his W … Stay classy
