That fourth orb requires a pet battle. I stopped doing it completely and just bought a Hateforge mount on Facebook

It’s just a mount, it’s too much time just to get that, it’s not like they’re going to give us the next expansion for free. Spending 3 hours interacting with owl statues is for mobile games, not wow.

For a Bike like this where you have to travel to every corner of the World, collect some items, do some puzzles only to get the mount and realize its not “fully unlocked” yet tells me this mount needs an Orange Loot Tag, The amount of work involved to get this, not to mention the “effects” it may get after, deserves a tag such as this. Giving it a purple tag is just an insult in my opinion.

I got my Purple Hateforge Felcycle from the Mountain Dew promotion. I attended a Xmas party from a friend and I saw a box of Mountain Dew cans on the drinks area. I took its code… got 500 points free. I bought a 20oz Mountain Dew from a Liquor store to get 100 points. The Felcycle is just 600 points. Now, I have the mount.
Who said it’s useless? I do M+. When we mount up, I use the Felcycle (Except on Dawnbreaker). It looks cool.

I don’t know… I didn’t find it too difficult. Maybe getting the right team for Orb 5 and Orb 6 took a little work… but beyond that it was a fun distraction from the normal stuff.

I kinda agree. I achieved some orbs because of rng was on my side and didnt know how i did it. Like the owl puzzle i read up on it and was still confused. Got the addon statue solver and still failed. Tried it again and by chance somehow completed. Same thing with the plates and locks. Could of swore I was on lock 4 and somehow completed. But frustrating to do for a ground mount so hopefully there is something else.
I think it’s fine, I don’t enjoy scavenger hunts and looking for stuff, but if I want to I can get it because there are guides. It’s a lot of work for what it is, and I think it’s a cool thing. It’s just not my cool thing. I’m also stingy enough to put this off til next Halloween because I’m not buying a pug costume for 25k gold I don’t care how much it’s been inflated I have detective I can wait or just not do it.
Gyrocopters, siege engines, mobile catapults and ballistae say hi.

Jumping that bike from the level where the Org embassy is located into the middle of Org and sitting there while people marveled made the whole long strange trip worthwhile. That said I’ll probably never ride it again as it doesn’t fly. The puzzle guys do extrapolate that the three remaining orbs will enable flying and a purple version, but I have my doubts.
I thought a dev replied to them and said it wouldn’t fly? I would put my money on the new drive system or whatever it’s called coming in 11.1

Nah, for a mount that doesn’t even fly (as far as I know), and that doesn’t even have a /mountspecial (as far as I know), it seems really overly-stupid with the method of getting it. The blue treasure eel mount and the purple unicorn mount didn’t feel nearly as bad as this felcycle looks to be. The only thing I didn’t like about the brain jellyfish is that it requires other players (which, duh, MMO, but realistically, people stopped doing the jellyfish stuff after it stopped being new, so finding a group for it would be kind of hard now).
Overall, the felcycle looks like a pain in the butt. I am glad a kind soul offered me the blazecycle for free.
There are multiple discords where devs only talk to specific groups.
I don’t know why devs are being brought up, but I didn’t know devs talked on discord at all with ‘normies’.
