Speak for yourself. The mounts I usually use are vehicles. Breaking immersion? How? Tech based stuff has been in the game since vanilla
Why do you act like it’s simple and smooth and clean? it’s actually not… for the first Orbs till 4th orb everything was cool and adventure and amazing… then imagine going back to Vynther covenant to do the campaign for level 7. till you get some item that you need for the freaking Secrets…

Show me where I used ANY of those words or descriptions. It is probably harder than a Mythic+25 to figure out. We have 50k people in a Discord trying to decipher stuff DAILY. The pet battle was easy. Figuring out the original key just to get down there was a PITA. There is nothing simple or easy about solving this big secret for a cool mount, but groaning about a pet battle of all things is just absolutely SILLY.

I say the same to both groups - you don’t have to have everything.
These secrets I usually try to read everything you have to do first before I decide. Nothing worse than doing a bunch of stuff then hitting a part you hate doing and having to quit then. Luckily with this one it was too much even only half way through for me.
I still don’t have Jenna fur because I did everything and then failed in Kaza because too slow and I always meant to go back but lost interest because I hate rushing at anything.

I really don’t care about the Fel-cycle, I was enjoying working with the community on discord to solve the puzzles. If I wanted the cycle, I could go dump 6 bottle of Mnt Dew down the toilet and get that one.
I just can’t get past the Battle Pet crap and it’s put me so far behind, it’s just ruined the entire event for me. To put all this time into the event to get to the part I was looking foward to and run into a brick wall with crappy time waste mechanic that the majority of the players wouldn’t give a crap about if it was removed.
I have to give up before it ruins the rest of the game for me
This happens with every reward in the game. If you want it you do the content it’s for. If you don’t want it you don’t do the content.

Guess if it is something you really want, you will deal with the busy work to unlock it. 
and by work, I do not mean actual hard work, seeing as how All of these secrets are uncovered and made public including All the steps on how to go about solving these puzzles.
What I mean is just the effort to even bother with such an easy task as following videos on YouTube on the “How to Do” stuff.

Yes, I am not going to do it.
I have only three battle pets in that level range, 25,23, and 22. None of them are the ones I am supposed to use for the battle. I don’t even have one of the pets that are listed. I don’t have enough polished pet charms to purchase a boost to level 25, let alone 3 boosts to level 25.
Could I spend time doing all this, getting three of the required pets, and getting the levels of the required pets up to par? Probably. Do I want to do this? No.
I got the Mountain Dew version, I am happy.
I like to battle occasionally for fun, or if I see something cute and want to add it to my collection, but I am not an avid pet battler. This is awesome for those who are.

I’m bedaffled and completely mesmerized by the strong reactions to the pet battle portion. Completely… puzzled. Even if one were to have to learn how to succeed at a pet battle, had to collect the pets and do a few world quests to get enough tokens to get the pets to 25… that’s actually not a huge amount of time and effort. Like… if you are into the spirit of the task - the puzzle solving task - aren’t you, by nature of the event, curious and willing to stretch your in-game activities to accomplish this? If you’re not, and you just want the felcycle, then the felcycle is hardly worth it. I don’t care if it’s the new brutosaur mount. Not worth it to do things you despise for some pixels. I don’t think anything about this challenge is wrong. For a tense day or so I was thinking I’d have to get to Argus somehow and I didn’t play Legion at all. But if that happened, then I’d obviously have to do some Legion content if I’m committed to completing this task.
I’m confused by the complaints. It’s an anniversary event. If it didn’t bring in multiple types of content and pull from different expansions, I really don’t think it could do justice to the 20th anniversary. On another thread there are statements that the anniversary event should be open to all players. It is open to all players if you’re willing to put in the effort. At every turn, I’ve had to try some new skills. That has been cool. It has been a fun way to move around and re/familiarize myself with different aspects of the game.
I worry about our world. Not just WoW, but like people feeling things should be crafted to please them. I mean… how watered down do you want life to be? This is why we can’t have nice things.

I would be doing the whole puzzle/secret just to do it. I don’t mind an extra mount, but getting there is the fun part. Although if we didn’t have the geniuses figuring out these complex puzzles for us all, I probably would have given up.
It’s kind of sad that people complain about these types of adventures in game. I don’t benefit from pvp stuff anymore or mythic things because I choose not to do them. I’m not going to bellyache about it.

A single 12-pack of mountain dew gets you the same model of a mount, so you can either spend 50 hours grinding a giant escape room or spend $6. Unless you’re just some sort of freak for the color green I guess.
You’re honestly better off getting the Hateforged one from buying products/codes if able. 
I got a 12 pack of the Game Fuel (Citrus Blackberry) cans, and the code was safely printed inside the box. 
I don’t recommend the chip bags since those codes are unwisely printed on the outside of them… 
But it’s definitely easier if you rather not go through the lengths of getting the green felcycle… Since it is rather elaborate! 
Kudos to all those busy bees hard at work solving it for everyone! 
And hey… it was a bit of a pain but I’m making that dang watch belt work with as many of my characters’ tmogs as possible, due to the effort. 
But I think that one pales in comparison to the current secret, honestly--

You can get enough stones to do this without pet battling as long as you have 2 alts.
Or just do 9~ daily quests.

It’s alot of work for a ground mount. Maybe Blizz will make it fly?
