Took me 5 runs to get them- the crawdad fish in outlands I had to give up on though because 20 people competing for the pools wasn’t my idea of fun. I just fished extra in northrend and paid for the price of the crawdad off the ah.

Optional mount is optional. If you don’t like the requirements, then just don’t do them. The green bike looks ugly anyway.

I did pet battles once (well for a few weeks). It was to speed up Nazjatar rep. Never touched them before or since.

It’s always just this or just that. My entire point was if you do that too many times you lose people every time, all of a sudden. You’re at half what you used to be.

It takes barely over an hour to go from having literally nothing pet battle related to being done with this step. Also pet battles are puzzles in themselves, I don’t know why everyone is so shocked they might need to do a single one as part of the most elaborate puzzle WoW’s ever had.

I don’t even care about this stuff anymore because they have put too many pets and mounts in raids/mythic plus and PvP that I have no interest in doing. For awhile I had 95% of the pets in the game, now I can’t even bother catching the wild ones because I am missing too many from that other content.
Blizzard is killing their own game by trying to force people into content they don’t like to get collectibles that can only be used in world content. Gradually over time people lose interest in everything.

So what? PvE can’t have vanity rewards or collectibles because you can’t get over the fact you won’t have them?
What a wild expectation.
Oh no, content that requires you to interact with multiple aspects of a game. Can’t have that, wouldn’t want people to get out of their comfort zones now would we?

Still has an easier completion rate than many rare drops.
I don’t care for pet battles, but with the posted guide itnis very doable.
Not sure if i will bother.
I do have some mogs that would look good with the bike, but doubt anyone would be impressed if i cruze by.

Considering the last official sub graph shows we are at the highest we’ve ever been and climbing, it’s probably fine.
Where’s this at? From what I remember, Blizz (who I’d consider to be the only ‘official’ source in this context) stopped reporting sub numbers back in WoD. Presumably because subs dropped off a cliff shortly after WoD’s launch, but that’s just speculation on my part.
As long as there isn’t a step that requires multiple people I’m fine. Aside from being antisocial, that kind of thing doesn’t age well.
I mean, even if I wanted it, getting the flying brain mount is pretty much a no-go now.

It’s their way to keep from having to manufacture too many of these things. They can’t digitally pump them out.

I think they mention things now and then without specific numbers. Though the largest loss of players we know about was in mop not wod. Just mop had a comeback after its disastrous first tier.

Ended up buying it from the AH. How much are they going for now? I don’t recall it being cheap
Its usually between 1600 and 2000g. It sounds like a lot but its really not in tww money. Thats maybe 10mins of farming cloth.
You can farm the gold for it much faster then farming the drops.
