Love that Shattering/Wrecking Throw is now in a spot that feels less difficult to take for the occasional boss fight where its important. This whole talent row now at least lest us to choose some form of utility thats not tied to CC which is a plus for me.
That being said, Anger Management is very out of place and difficult to take. Every Warrior spec revolves around Anger Management’s gameplay and has for years at this point. Moving this talent up earlier in the tree, or just making it a baseline skill would go a long way in helping improving pathing. Lastly the row of Cruel Strikes, Weapon Specialization, and Wild Strikes feels so bloated. All of these talents either feel super important for our rage generation and overall damage, OR block access to something like Anger Management.
If this row can be improved, I think Warriors will be in a very good spot class talent wise.
Honestly great change here. This allows it to not be neglected in execute phase, while also making it so that every ability press in single target and AoE can potentially trigger our apex talent.
The biggest issue now with our Apex talent is just based on UI. Since we cannot track Heroic Strike Triggers via the Cooldown Manager, it makes for a wonky sort of Bar Solution, that I don’t think a lot of people are too pleased about. A better way to track this proc considering how important it is to maintain Colossus Smash uptime would be appreciated.
Lastly, what specifically are the plans for Arms Warrior Rage? Throughout the last three expansions we’ve seen various different situations where Arms has not enough rage (Shadowlands), to too much rage (Dragonflight), to a weird middle ground that often has too much rage (TWW).
What specifically are the goals for Arms Warrior Rage? Are we trying to fill every GCD? Have Gaps? Smart Rage Usage that allows for no-gaps, but if you make a mistake you rage starve yourself?
At the moment it feels like we’re leaning on the Shadowlands version of rage, where you simply just don’t have enough rage to press all of your buttons.
