A bit disappointing there are no notes for shadow again. I tried to make a post but it was immediately deleted…guess I’m not allowed to be disappointed for a lack of notes.

another week, no changes. its very depressing to treat a spec like this, absolutely no changes other than aura buffs since tww alpha… not addressing any of the gameplay issues the spec has had since 10.1 rework which at this point i deem a failure cause it realistically only performed with that tier set.
i really can’t stand playing my shadow priest in mythic+ i feel like i am getting carried even by specs that are several ilvls lower than me.
like it would have been nice to have gotten any tuning on alpha or beta so that shadow could have had a more reliable raid spot due to it being pretty good silken court and queen ansurek. i fear that due to other specs tuning on beta we will be left behind again.

100%, it’s about 25% behind enhance in m+ and stays that way all expansion lol it’s crazy the gap in top and bottom dps in m+

Spriest had a AOE a good aoe spender back in shadowlands, Searing Nightmare, back then did the job, we had Mind Sear as a AOE instanity generator, and Searing Nightmare was casted while Mind Sear was channelled, is applied SW: Pain and some damage, then it did double damage to targets affected by SW: Pain and refreshed it. Back then did the job realy well.

I just really don’t want another x.7 patch “band-aid” that creates more issues than it solves.
Give Shadow a proper look by someone who knows the spec well, and make meaningful changes that aims to fix gameplay mechanics for the modern game. This isn’t just a tuning issue.

BRING BACK MIND SEAR!!! 100% agree.
And make it a “on the move” channel. Heck make Mind Flay one too! Casting has been made very problematic in dungeons and raids.
