I think, if this is to continue, you need to seperate out premade teams, so they only play against premades. No one likes the idea of having to be in a group to win, which is pretty much the case.
Also, wouldn’t it be far fairer for aliance, who thus far have done the right thing by not just playing horde like everyone else, to just have one big pool of players?
After reading posts that provide actual feedback and skimming past the rest there are some good ideas and some actual concerns that need to be considered. The “Thank you Blizzard greatest change ever, I can play the game now” are valid posts, but it doesn’t provide feedback we knew that would be the reaction from horde players.
Some ideas like group all people that queue regardless of faction into the BG pool is probably my favorite. I think if you don’t it will further discourage casual alliance pvpers from queuing even more (non premades) People are concerned about the rise of premades vs pugs suggesting 5 man premades or matching premade vs premade.
Faction imbalance is a real concern and for people that don’t understand why and just say “why are you against a change that doesn’t hurt you at all” are only thinking about themselves. Faction imbalance impacts all aspects of the game from finding group/raids, the economy/AH, finding arena partners, wpvp, the ability to gather resources/quest imagine when dailies come out. It will need to be monitored and incentives may be required for the underdog, whichever faction that is it actually may be horde on some servers.
I hope those responsible for making the changes read the actual feedback and take everything into consideration.
Exactly. Any Alliance on PVP servers thinking it won’t affect them because our queues are still instant are failing to grasp the bigger picture. Blaumeux’s Alliance population slowly bled out to the point that TBC was completely unplayable for us. We were so hopelessly outnumbered that we had no way to compete with the Horde on our server, and there were so few of us that our economy was in shambles. Stuff straight up wasn’t on the AH, and it was difficult to sell commonplace items like Coilfang Armaments.
This scenario grows more likely on any server that isn’t already Ally-dominated each time a change such as this is introduced. This is why I want other changes to be tested before resorting to this one. I feel bad for all the Alliance who’ve been forced to leave Blaumeux and other dying servers (Kromkrush, Herod, and Fairbanks to name a few) in the recent weeks, and it’ll only continue to happen if something isn’t done to help us out.
Fantastic fix to a game-breaking issue, thank you for finally listening to overwhelming community feedback Blizz. Please make this permanent.
I was about to unsubscribe due to literally not being able to PVP as horde. Logging on for 2 hours at a time these days and not having enough time for a single game was unplayable. No faction transfers and no time to level another level 70 on alliance meant unsubscribing was imminent. No longer!

Un-sub worthy as alliance. Awful change that makes horde even more dominant by adding even more pre-mades to the game.
Get rid of this awful system and add mercenary system from live. Brings good players from horde to alliance, and reduces queue time.

Do you guys truly know so little about this game that you don’t see the repercussions this has? The Alliance already has dwindling numbers, finding a tank for near anything is hard on most PvP servers, the stones are all mobbed with horde, Shatt is full of horde, its like playing a zombie survival game half the time. Alliance BG performance is already horrible as it is because you keep imbalanced racials in the game, which creates the meta of epic Horde gamers who need their little racial crutches. For the PvP streamers it’s a given because they are the ones who actually play at a high level, but it also influences everyone else to follow in those footsteps and just causes further imbalance between the factions. Now you take the ONE advantage the Alliance has left to appease all the little crutching crybabies who can’t do anything good in this game outside of their mob of 20 horde. Its such a ridiculous notion lol. They made their own bed in choosing the zerg crutch faction, choosing the easy route over the more challenging one, yet you remove all consequence of that in doing this. You guys probably saw it coming too and still did nothing about it. More importantly though do you not see how negatively this impacts the Alliance in all facets of the game? It will die out entirely. Servers that are already mobbed by Horde will become ghost towns. There will be little to no one left for rep grinding or dungeoning or even making premade BG groups because the pops will become so much more skewed than they already are. Players that can’t handle being mobbed by massive groups of Horde in every zone will xfer to PvE servers or just quit and it will kill basically every Alliance PvP server. Does this company truly have such little foresight? Again, such a lack of understanding about the game and the need for some semblance of balance? If this goes through as a real change you have wasted so many peoples time and money. Personally to the point I might stop supporting this brainless company entirely. I know its been on the decline for a while but damn this is a new low. If you guy’s had any idea about how your game works you would have changed racial imbalances prior to the launch of the game. Yet you aim for “no changes” then a month after the launch you drop an absolute bomb on any player who chose Alliance despite the already evident disadvantages. You could have offered Horde to Alliance faction changes to help balance the games pops out too, but instead you do this. If you are trying to ruin this iteration of the game then make this permanent, watch your numbers dwindle, and then scratch your heads as to why you are losing out on so much of your precious money because you guys are that out of touch with the reality of the game. It’s a good change. You get my vote on it. I’m an alliance and it doesn’t directly affect me at all…nobody should even care if the horde are happy… So yea u can keep it

Ok I take back everything I said previously against this change. My queues in the 60-69 bracket seem to be the same or even faster. And I had a Ally v Ally WSG which was fun. Never fought so many paladins in my life.
I feel like this is one of the first times we’ve felt heard as a community in quite a while. Thank you. It’s fantastic actually being able to pvp and not que’ing, walking off making dinner, coming back to see that I missed it, or it still hasn’t popped an hr later. Keep up the good work!

Still waiting on your fix to the problem. Sounds like you are whining about whining? Everyone should have pushed for free Horde to Alliance transfers. Problem solved. Instead every alli on here just sits and goes omg you so deserve to have bad ques because our life is hard.
