Feedback: Same-Faction Battlegrounds Test

no, that is an actual fact. don’t think so? compare how many ally are on pve vs pvp servers. compare how many alliance on a whole there is compared to how many actually queue for bgs.

y’all like to use retail as a great defense- how many alliance even play with wm on compared to those that keep it off? alliance had to be bribed with AoO raid gear, and it still doesn’t work.

anyone who doesn’t believe is just being ignorant. anyone who doesn’t see it is just being delusional.

how was i to know that blizzard would drop in what is essentially merc mode from retail? that’s so far out of left field it is insane. this mode wasn’t introduced until like…wod? so releasing paid faction transfers earlier than wotlk isn’t that much of a stretch.

anyways, have a nice day you wonderful ray of sunshine you! always so positive and fun. golly gee whiz!~

and “what is just a fact though,” is that there’s only a a 10% difference in the ally to horde population. the scales might tilt in horde’s favor, but it’s not overwhelming like you all love to say. our queue times are coming from the lack of alliance who actually participate in pvp, not this made up overwhelming number of horde there is in the game.

we complained about this before this fix was even thought up. by horde doing exactly what alliance have been doing just showed how bad premades are to the overall bg experience. either break them by limiting groups to 5 or implement a fix to where premades are matched vs premades, not full pugs.

Has nothing to do with gear.

more benefits than having gear for weeks longer than the other side? a buff to allow alliance to stay at an advantage just to keep queuing?

lol… wow.

Please dont reply if you have no idea what you’re talking about and are clueless to the faction imbalance issues… thank you!

you mean besides him, along with the many others who posted earlier???

S-shadowlands…i-is that you?

What a mess. Alliance players talking about switching to horde for better racials. Come on. If your pvp is really impacted by racials, you are doing it laughably wrong. I’ve gotten glad as alliance in multiple xpacs and never thought about the racials one time.

Horde vs horde week was a mess. I myself queued premades the entire week. This is not how the game is supposed to be.

The only realistic solution is to have faction changes on servers where one side is dominating the other. This will passively resolve itself at least to the point where q times are <15min for horde players while also fixing problems in the open world where one faction has complete control of summoning stones at instances.

This is my first forum post and most of what I see here is complaining from both sides. I was alliance in vanilla through bfa. I went horde in SL and tbc for a change of pace and I miss playing alliance. My server is horde dominated, yet my group of friends and myself would gladly go alliance if that were an option.

BLIZZARD SHOULD STOP ALL BG’S TILL

Blizzard should give horde free faction change.
and but all bg’s on hold till the server are at least 40/60 or better.
then restart them.
if Horde are serious they just wanna pvp.
bg’s wouldn’t be offline for more than a day. then both sides will enjoy Bg’s again with decent ques

this will solve all the problems. with out the horde getting a 1 sided fix

Still not seeing where he said players would mass exodus. Maybe lay off the hyperbole if you expect a rational discussion.

umm, ok. great defense.

you too sweet cheeks! just stay off my lawn as you go!~

if you say so…

i guess since you can’t comprehend what you read, i’ll help break it down for you…

he said:

i said, in response to his “solution”:

he wasn’t the first to try and say free horde to ally changes would solve the population imbalance; i merely said i wish they would just to prove that notion would fail.

do you really need me to hold your hand and explain it further?

Then they deserve the hour-long queues.

You’re still trying to exaggerate the situation to demean the suggestion. Mass exodus is not needed to bring horde queue times down. Faction swaps serve two purposes. 1. Better alliance PvP population. 2. Lower horde queue times. It really is that simple so as much as you want to dismiss an option that was not offered, the potential was there had it been an option.

And lose the condescending tone. It doesn’t help your argument.

i’m good. your arguments don’t help your arguments…

What you said here:

I’m not bothered who I’m fighting as long as I haven’t had to wait an hour to get into a BG! [/quote]

Doesn’t match what you said here:

i dont see you coming up with a plan to solve anything. at least i thru one out there not just of let horde have everything and kill off alliance they to hard to pvp anyways. you only thinking of your self here. not the big picture.

blizzard can not make everyone happy with a patch fix. people will quit regardless.

to be honest the easiest fix is to let some horde quit. you chose the over populated side should have to deal with it or help fix or quit. wont have to add a thing it would be more like tbc. but i try and come up with idea that helps both sides. and you say No i want what i want.

you think they will just let alliance players quit. over the i want it all or quit horde players?

that’s not fair at all again that’s just thinking about yourself.
