Fix bm before mythic +.
Having played BM hunter Packleader since early access, I can say this: I am underwhelmed. Between the nerf to leech, growl effectively being broken, and my damage through put feeling life I am using an actual nerf gun when fighting random open world PVE content, how precisely am I supposed to want to play this spec any longer? I have not died so frequently since some point vanishingly long ago, like early in Cata when huntersâ pets would die every time you teleported into a dungeon and could not be rezzed except by filing a ticket and getting a GM to rez your pet, only to have die again the next time you used a portal or entered a dungeon. Rinse repeat.
During Cata, I gave it 90 days before I rage quit until the release of WoD. I am starting feel that same level of frustration and it has not been 90 days.
BM is dead both in pve and pvp, do something!
Iâm not sure another hero class has less class fantasy support than pack leader. Itâs very bland. There is a lot of completely unmet potential here, not sure why it was shipped in this state.
Cause Blizzard couldnât get past Dark Ranger and Sentinel, but needed three Hero trees. So, they thought that since SV and BM both have Kill Command letâs just make a tree focused around it.
Itâs not really Hero talents than it is just some buffs to abilities, donât need and major changes to your rotation.
Dear Blizzard,
Put the Pack in Pack Leader.
Thanks,
Everyone
BM literal top raid dps spec.
As a dedicated Beast Mastery hunter, I have always been drawn to the fantasy of unleashing a multitude of Pets against my enemies. However, I have been disappointed to see our damage output fall behind other classes at the same gear level, particularly those that are hybrid classes.
Talent builds from reputable websites such as Icy Veins and WoWhead consistently recommend the Dark Ranger setup. Nevertheless, this does not align with my preferred playstyle, and I am concerned about being forced into a single, restrictive build within the hero trees. We were told the reintroduction of talent trees was intended to offer players greater flexibility in their character development, but that doesnât seem to be the case.
I would like to propose one possible solution to address the current issues: reinstating the Stampede ability, which would briefly summon multiple pets to aid in combat, like it was in Wrath. However, for this to be effective, it would be crucial to ensure that these summoned pets deal sufficient damage.
Alternatively, I was fond of the Dragonflight season 3 tier set bonus, which allowed additional summoned beasts to use Kill Command. It may be worth considering incorporating a similar mechanic into a talent or ability.
Regarding the Pack Leader hero talent visuals, I donât have any issues. The effect of summoning multiple pets to combat creates an engaging experience reminiscent of Demonology warlocks and their imps, which is part of the reason I appreciate that spec.
I definitely want to see Stampede return in some form. Whether itâs a standalone ability, or a talent that makes it proc on Bestial Wrath, etc.
This isnât gonna age well after the incoming changes. Weâre gonna be for AoE and Single Target now.
Radio Silence by you all for taking BM from number 5 in ST dps to dead last with these changes? What is wrong with you all over there at Blizzard? Pushing this nerf to BC with ZERO compensation and nerfing ST damage by 9% is so out of touch. Why are these changes going out right now without pushing the anniversary patch changes? What is wrong with you all?
Balancing is a complete ****-show nowadays. What do you expect?
This is as a good change but not enough to either thing they did. Fix this by removing the talent entirely and buffing our damage SIGNIFICANTLY to make up for it. I donât think the tuning knob controller has a clear understanding of just HOW much damage this talent attributes to our DPS.
Remove the talent. Buff KC and Pet damage by another 50%. That unironically would break even to where we are today.
Can we have a look at the feel and look of this hero tree and not only at the tuning ?
I mostly play Monk today, but played Hunter since 2004. Just have a look at Conduit of the Celestials⌠It feels more like what Pack Leader should be, have this spec proc pets depending on what you do, have the pets provide you bonus, I donât knowâŚ
Just make it feel better and more like you are leading a pack of animals than my Monk does⌠Heck even my Evoker as Scale Commander feels more of a leader than my Hunter, on a couple of occasions folks have noticed the Dracthyrs flying by. No one ever noticed my Hunter was a Pack LeaderâŚ
Please do not mind the lv10, I am from Europe.
Honestly, this âbrilliantâ idea to make 3 hero specs for all specs, and two of then needing to be available for TWO specs was going to be a balance nightmare
Its 13 classes, at least 39 specs and now 3 more hero specs, 2 for each spec, jesus.
I honestly donât know how this can function properly knowing how hard is to balance normal classes and the specs on then, now they multiply even more the work that have to be done, with even less people working on it, what else to expect if not what we are having it? some hero specs rly bad or visually uninteresting, being useless for both specs, or one being usable in only one and other so strong is the defacto pick regardless of the spec
Hero specs should have being mainly visual stuff, with maybe some primary buffs for the spec, but right now is a crucial part of game balance.
I think the Hero Talents were probably biting off more than the devs could chew. At least theyâre mostly cosmetic or damage buffs to things we already do⌠but that also means theyâre not too interesting in some classesâ cases.
Iâve heard Stormbringer has a fun button to push. I like Templar and what it does for Eye of Tyr as a pally tank. I canât say Herald of the Sun is great but itâs at least got a thing going on. Pack Leader feels like it is purely upping damage numbers and putting a buff or debuff on an already cluttered and essentially uninteresting tally board.
