PuG group - Furthest attempt was 2 cycles of orbs
When one orb was killed the other two were absorbed irrespective of how far away they were which negated the possibility to split DPS on the orbs, which then poses the question. Why do they have so much health? Melee are punished for being stacked on this encounter as they cannot swap to orbs to kill them. The orb health feels too high for this purpose as raid spots are restricted on Mythic.
The unstable buffing mechanic (on the boss) did not seem to be present, or was not clear on how to trigger. What’s preventing you from doing the same order endlessly.
When the nightmare orb is absorbed every player has a different sized visual ring around them indicating their damage radius however the radius on all players was the same. Could this be made more consistent?
At the testing values not much time was able to be spent hitting the boss. The adds have quite a large amount of health and then you have the orbs spawning when you have just killed them, which then in turn spawns more adds.
