FEEDBACK: Mists of Pandaria Class Changes

Seems like a good change to me.

Your credibility is what is being challenged. Your opinion on what a Holy Paladin should be doing is easily dismissed when you’re shown to have no clue how to perform well on the spec.

Your preference for class design is acknowledged. You don’t want to be in melee as a healer. Unfortunately that is not, nor has it ever been what you’ll get from a Holy Paladin. The notion that SoD devs are coming in and changing the way your spec is played is ridiculous. You simply do not know how to play your spec, you don’t know how it was played in the past, and you don’t actually understand the changes your spec is receiving.

Your default is to be in melee, auto attacking between casts to restore mana and to do more DPS. When the mechanics don’t allow for you to be in melee, you don’t. That is precisely what I, and others, said:

I don’t know why you think this matters. You can cast in melee. This isn’t D&D; there’s no attack of opportunity triggered by casting in reach of the boss. The boss is not moving nearly as much as you think it is, and you can simply finish casting then move back into melee range.

I’ll just quote my other character to save myself the trouble.

I am an expert, actually. But even if I weren’t, I’m not wrong.

Also…

Have some self awareness, would you?

Please don’t.
