IoC seems pretty fixed so far in the few games Iâve joined. Itâs way more fun now, thank you. If some oddities arise (like glaives the last time) Iâll be sure to mention it.
The devs donât get enough credit, but I think all it takes is showing that weâre listened to and it goes a long way.

They should not take ANY damage.

âWhen leashed.â What does this mean exactly? I was in an IoC where the alliance bossâs health was NOT resetting back to full HP even after the horde wiped on him. Is this intended? If a team wipes on a boss, shouldnât his health reset back to 100%?
It could be like island expedition mobs to where the mob health doesnât reset after a wipe. Everyone rezzes and runs back to the same mobs that are now 40% hp where you left off.
I donât mind this change but I think the boss needs to regenerate his hp after leaving combat at .5% every second or something.

This was my concern too. Healers can heal them but they have millions of health and it takes much longer to restore health than it does to take it down.
Jdppâs suggestion is a good one, and similar to the mechanic in Overwatch and in Ashran with the generals. Have them restore health for every second they are out of combat, so that graveyard zerging isnât a viable tactic.
Anyone tried kiting the boss around the island yet?
I think the no-reset change to bossâs HP is not a good one. There was no need to change bosses resetting other than to figure out a way to prevent taunting outside of their room. There should be a consequence to wiping; and there should be a reward for defending as a strategy to try to win. Typically after a wipe, each team has an equal shot to regain control by obtaining/securing the WS for siege support. IMO IoC has been made even dumber with this change - it has been made even more of a âraceâ BG than an âepicâ one.

My Feedback? What does it matter how the mechanics of the match work if other players can just randomly get players kicked from the match for no reason other than they just donât like you or agree with your plan of strategy?
Oh? Hangar got a buff this month so if you donât go Hangar this match âitâs see ya later noobâ. Donât feel like staying on Defense to burn down their resources this AV? OHâŚâsee ya later noob.â Sometimes we wait upwards of 30 mins to an hour just to get into a match, only to be booted 10-15 mins laterâŚafter you have spent the entire time trying to actually get your team a GYâŚor faithfully defended. Not to mention that youâve allowed the other faction to Merc and queue up with you? so they can join on secondary accounts and start sabotaging the opposing team internally. This system has got to go. If you canât add a premade queue higher then 10, at least remove that privilege from the idiots who seek to ruin your day or take control of your player freedoms. We have NO WAY to stand up for ourselves. You go to all this trouble to design the game to be fun, then you let ppl suck the fun right out of it, or exploit it for a win, and its both factions doing it.

i always love this conspiracy theory, any excuse other than âwe suckâ. iâve been on plenty of teams where we sucked, even when all the players individually were good, there was just no cohesion or team play. we sucked, and we lost, no need to make up crazy conspiracy theory excuses.
Everyone can have their opinion but facts are facts, these mechanics DO exist and they are causing ppl to bicker and argue instead of actually trying to win the way Blizz intended. Merc option is fine, but it can be abused. I guess it wouldnât be much different if the account had a character of the opposite faction already. The point isâŚwe have no way to confirm that we are actually NOT afk, and participating, and no one really cares if someone leaves the match anyway, they just assume you left on your own.
