I have a wonderful house in EQ2. Get to decorate however I want, with things I pick up in the world and banners/books/etc earned. Also have a couple of cats to play with.
Meh. They should do the WildStar housing system. Your house didn’t even have to be a house. You got a plot of land and you could use the houses the game provides or build literally anything you want instead. The amazing things people came up with in that game… it’s such a loss they’re not around anymore.
Visited one house where they’d turned their whole plot into a treetop village in a forest. Someone made the Millennium Falcon, inside and out. There were underwater plots, there were plots made into skate parks, there were moon bases, giant factories, haunted houses… anything anyone could think of they could build in the WildStar housing system. It was like Minecraft only everything wasn’t blocks.
Materials for crafting should have their own tab and not take up any space in your inventory. I really like this feature from SWOTR.
When you want to sell them on the AH, there should be an interface to seamlessly let you put how much you want to sell. If you want to trade them, this interface would also come up, where you would select the item and how much of the item you would want to trade.
They should tear pages out of OSRS. I want more things like brawlers guild, mage tower, show off “I myself earned this” and no fomo T shirt that just says “I was there!” Or things that can be gold bought with a carry.
The two biggest for me would be:
1- armor dye- It is actually surprising this doesn’t exist as almost every other game has it.
2- housing- Similar to dye, WoW is one of the few games that doesn’t have it. Nothing fancy needed here- just a small plot of land in an instanced neighborhood. Let people decorate it, but make sure it has no in game power or profession bonuses. Purely cosmetic.
ESO as wel.
Hell, Baldur’s Gate 3 has it even
