We’re getting 2.4.3. They will add fear ward to every single priest, due to faction balance.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if they added devouring plague to all priests, due to the same reason they gave alliance paladins Seal of Martyr (added only in WoTLK) because it was like this way in 2.4.3.
It’s funny that you think Paladins are as good at healing as priests or that alliance priests spam PoH. Actually clueless.
The fear ward change wasn’t even present for most of TBC. It would be more accurate to leave it out until a later phase.
I think it is going to depend entirely on what 2.x patch Blizzard decides to go with. My humble guess is that Blizzard will use the latest content short of Wrath pre-patch. I would also put money on eventual Wrath servers.
fear ward isn’t a big deal, priest dwarf racials are very strong in tbc, it’s the only class that requires a unique strategy to kill that every other priest doesnt require.

And yet a number of things that weren’t around for most of Vanilla’s lifespan were still put in Classic from day 1.
Blizzard did it the first time, they’ll do it again. They’ve already stated that 2.4.3 is the most balanced iteration of TBC in their view and that’s what they’re sticking with for class balance.
