I have a soft spot my winterspring frostsaber. So much so that I also tamed one on my hunter after earning it. A truly loyal feline that helped me in my assault of Highmaul.

The Kor’kron Warwolf will always have a special place as the only AOTC I felt obligated to grab.

That said, I really want a gaddang arathi pony or burro.

I bought Eleks at first then snowy Griffin then realized I had promo mounts available. I like the fire tiger but it doesn’t fly. So I use the Heroes of the Storm blue spectral mount. I didn’t realize there were like 500 mounts in the game. I’ve never got a drop and never seen a quest for one up to level 100.

It is hard to pick just one. Even more so after hitting the 350 mount achievement. I also pick out 1 or 2 mounts I really like, depending on the character I am playing. My warlock loves their demonic flying horses. My Monk the wind serpents. My hunter, something feral, usually matching which ever pet I happen to be using at the time lol. My warrior, something bulky, with heavy armor on the mount itself. My paladin, usually just their class mount from Legion. Mt priest uses the Heart of the Aspects mount because it matches their mage tower appearance Disc weapon perfectly with the mog I have on as well.

I am sure you see where the rest of my alts are heading with their own trends depending on their personality. I am a sucker for matching mogs / pets / mounts as best as I can.

That being said if I had to pick 1 or 2, alliance wise, I always have a soft spot for the wintersaber mount (that was hell to get back when it came out), horde wise, the AV frost wolf. Even if their models are disgustingly out of date now.

it was the very first mount I saw that I really wanted. I didnt know what it was or where to get it.
About 6 weeks ago maybe, the wife wanted to run for the ironbound proto drake and was having trouble with the one dragon where you have to have it kill so many of those dwarves.
We read that Brewmasters are the easiest way to get that one done, so I started helping her with one of mine.
She talked me into getting the proto drakes myself and so I started doing the other requirements.
Four of us ran thru it at one point and someone said I had a mount drop. I said no, Ive got this ‘head’ here, thinking it was gear because I hadnt really looked.
Sure enough, Mimirons Head.

So now Im the cool kid on the block. Got the only mount I ever really noticed enough to actually want it.
I got it, they dont. Its a status symbol.
And then my wife had it drop like really quickly and ruined my gloating fun :rofl:

Amani War Bear and I’m liking the color of my new Twilight Avenger dragon mount that dropped in IE the other day.

On my main I prefer to use my venomhide raptor. It’s small, agile, looks good, and fits the ambiance of zuldazar.

My lowbie tailor bank alt looks really good on the alabaster hyena, and my Hunter likes the war bear.

War Fox esp at night because the way the eyes glow look really sweet.
Valajar Stormwing, most the MOP serpents ( just wish their ground run wasn’t a hover but actual run with their feet), dread raven, voldun hyenas, ban-lu, and shu-zen

My favorites that I often use are the jewelcrafting panthers. Wonderful mounts on both land and air. Very pretty too! The sapphire is my favorite.

I wish they had more colors though. What I would give for a purple one. >.>

Any of the Hawkstriders, including the loud Voidstrider. Nothing says arrogant more than a Blood Elf or Void Elf running around killing your world quest mobs than seeing one of these mounts roll in full speed, squawking away like there’s no tomorrow.

They’re also hella fun in PvP.

I didn’t have to farm for it, I just remember hearing about the crystals online then stumbling into one months later.

It felt great winning the race for it too, I love it.

Midnight. It’s just a beautiful horse. I did countless opera/attune runs at the end of legion, and since the beginning of BFA and it finally dropped for me last night! I was actually only in there to help a guildy get Nightbane(which he did) then we decided to take a scroll down to the stables.

As a 382 Destruction warlock and him a 381 havoc demon hunter, the stables were clear in what can only be described as negative milliseconds. After the dust settled I scrolled through the long list of grey items only to see 1 and only 1 purple “Midnight’s Eternal Reins”
