Currently playing Grim Dawn, something about the Diablo 4 aesthetic turns me off as while I wouldnāt mind playing a character like a Barbarin Iād rather it be more like a Fighter who replies more on their armor and heavy weapons.
Though my true lore passion is 40kā¦Chaos. Khorne. My collection of Chaos models continues to grow to this dayā¦and Iām starting to move into conversion as I have a Baneblade to assemble then corrupt to Chaos.
Iām normally in the āIāll read books for actually good storiesā camp, but that game was brilliant. Thereās an Enhanced Edition that came out a few years ago and that Iāve meant to pick up, just to see if Iāll be as impressed as I was back then or if my memory is colored by nostalgia.
the Mass Effect trilogy was the singular greatest gaming experience i have ever had

We did some PVP in college. But I spent way more time trying to get invincibility cheat.
I mustāve done that facility map 40,000 times to get it right. Stupid doctor Doak. He was that one variable that seemed to always throw a wrench in my perfect runs
Thereās no way the remaster was anything more than an easy cash grab. Even a 400th time remaster of Wind Waker wouldāve been better and all it needs is a resolution scale.
Twilight Princess is 100% the better Zelda between Skyward Sword and itself. Skyward Sword just isnāt a good experience nor does it give that āZeldaā feel.
Also I just want to say Link to the Past deserved the remake, not Linkās Awakening (And I say that from someone who loved Linkās Awakening). Link to the Past is just that much more detailed of a game.
I hated Skyward Sword on the Wii, and then when the remaster on the Switch came out my kids are now older and playing games so we decided to rent it (we had a GameFly membership at the time) so they could give it a shot and I wanted to give it a retry.
Nope, still just as awful as I remember and nobody else in my family liked it either (and my kids have put hundreds of hours into Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom).
I think I have played every single Zelda since the original NES one came out.
But I really just donāt care for the breath of the wild stuff. It doesnāt give me the same Zelda experience. My kids absolutely love it but itās nothing compared to the experience you get playing Waker, ocarina of time, majoras mask.
I canāt quite explain what it is other than it goes back to that word in Portuguese: saudade
And if you played any of the old Zelda, you know exactly what that word means. Just experience the Song of Healing quest.
X-COM
X-Com: Terror From the Deep

Ultima series

Asheronās Call
Half_Life
Team Fortress (before the update)
Metal of Honor / Call of Duty originals
Crysis
Far Cry 1 and 2
Iām there with you. I can only hope one day they remaster/remake Ocarina of Time or Majoraās Mask (With MM being a massive overhaul ā that time system is kinda rough).
Breath of the Wild just isnāt Zelda for me. Neither is Tears of the Kingdom. Nintendo practically pulled a Blizzard on gamers like us and sold to mass appeal rather than an established fanbase.
Kudos cause it worked. Now give us a normal Zelda game again
