I’m going to be snapped at for this. But I thought “I am my scars” was a really good cutscene.
My all time favorite was suramar intro though. So much emotion in it, I love Thalyssera so much.

I admit, I wanted a full cinematic moment out of that and not just a cutscene. I actually remember staring at my screen in shock that they had the guts to use a blood prince to brutally tear apart a gnome.
I also remember laughing hysterically.

In game cinematic using the engine…
Would be a Wrathgrate, with the duel between Garrosh and Thrall being close second.
Actual cinematic would be WoD (just enjoy the whole “what if” thing to it.) with MoP being close just because it looked great and made me laugh.

My favorite cinematic has to be either the vanilla opening cinematic, Wrathgate, or Genn vs Sylvanas in Legion

My least favorite is Illidan killing Xera. That has to be the worst story telling I have ever seen, and that includes America Chavez’s comic books.
Reforming our good boy Hati is by far my most favorite just wish there was a way to see it again. I know there are youtube ones but it isn’t my character.
Wrathgate will probably always be my fav, there have been some very nice ones since then but it certainly affected me most at the time.
So many good ones to choose from. When Varian dies in Legion is pretty powerful or Sylvanas calls for the Val’kyr to save the Horde. Legion had a ton of great ones.
Old Soldier, Battle for Loredaron (I love how Snarky Slyvanas is being) it all felt very tense.
Illidan’s cutscene with Xera was also great.Also who could forget Azshara’s Warbringer animation? That was so cool!!
Rastakhan making his deal with Bwonsamdi. Bwonsamdi is done so well and i get chills everytime.
I also love the cata trailer.
Not really a favorite but i think it’s cool that the WoD Trailer references the War3 cutscene where Grom kill Mannoroth

One of the few cutscenes that made me audibly cheer.
Mine might be in an instance but I wouldn’t know because… it’s in the middle of group content and always clicked away.

Wrathgate because it was unexpected.
The cinematic completely caught me off guard, and I seriously thought the Forsaken just betrayed The Horde and were leaving the faction.
A close 2nd would be Varians death. First time WoW made me cry at a death of a character.
3rd Yseras. The second time I cried because of this game.
