Enhancement shaman: I love storms and enhancement has that concept down in spades.
Hunter: BM is cool, and I can get behind a solid ranged class.
Death Knight: Hey, sometimes edge is where it’s at and I really love frost spec. (More buffs for frost plox)
Warlock: Hey if I didn’t like the class, I wouldn’t have the green fire AND the unobtainable title (Of the Black Harvest). Do wish I knew how to play aff though.
Warrior: There’s something to be said for the brutal up in your face style of Fury/Arms. Also smashing things with oversized weapons. Though that might be my love of Monster Hunter talking.
Last, but not least: Druid: I love the astral aspect they put into balance. Very nice and the visuals are lovely.
I’m having a hard time deciding between the following three:
-
Paladin: a class that at first seems simple but has more depth when you start optimising for spending Holy Power without burning it and maintaining DoT windows of Expurgiation/trinket/weapon outside of your main burst. Super fun and rewarding to play.
-
Monk: Monk appeals to me because of the playstyle. I like the concept of not having to use my hands to fight in combat. The downside of this class is that it does require a bit more skill to play optimally and I generally don’t do huge damage outside of AoE scenarios.
-
Demon Hunter: not much to say here, just ultra fun and convienient.
Hunter. The whole beast master theme is my favorite fantasy class and I love the pet taming system. Also helps to be a ranged class.
Originally my favorite was the hunter, played him from vanilla til halfway through wrath when it just didn’t feel the same anymore. (Rest in peace Outlawsoup you are missed).
I picked up ret pally toward the very end of TBC and it became my main when I dropped hunter in wrath. I enjoyed it but my new favorite wasn’t until I started tanking as pally toward the end of wrath.
I’ve now been a prot pally through wrath and all of cata. When i came back to the game just recently I first tried making a new hunter… it’s not even close to the class I loved in vanilla.
Ended up right back on prot pally. There’s just so many possibilities. It feels like actually decision making instead of just a rotation. However, where the heck are my auras and blessings at blizz?!?
Priest, most powerful class.
Mage
They’re just so iconic, not only in wow lore, but every fantasy genre. They’re also a favorite child of the developers (see greater Pyroblast)
Warlock is a close second
When I want to hit something, Fury Warriors. They just feel like a good aggression class.
When I want to see a bunch of pretty colors and hit things, Enhancement shaman with the camera zoomed in.
When I wanna go fast like ricky bobby, Demon Hunter.
When I want to stress out because everyone is stupid, Resto Druid.
When I want to feel important, Prot Warrior.
Shaman, William Shatner is my hero.
Hunter… obviously because people hate us, and who doesn’t love triggering people?
I see what you did there ![]()
Paladin, Warlock, and Hunter.
Pally because I like being able to bubble out of any trouble that may happen and lay on hands is like a 2nd life.
Hunter and Lock because I love playing ranged dps and their style fits me.
I love my boomkin. Puts out good dps, has utility, and back up heals for when our priest panics. Recently done a bit of tanking so our bdk could take a break and dps for a bit
Warlocks. Best transmogs in game, and they’re play style is still good enough for me to still consider fun.
Hunter…can be either melee or ranged. Can have pets, solos excellent and feels the most fun for me.
If your answer isn’t Death Knight, Druid, or Paladin, you are doing it wrong. These three classes have the most flavor and lore importance.
Paladin, because it’s rather simple combat, allows helping team and has nice lore and graphics.
