I don’t do the pet battles but as for pets some of my favorites are:

There’s so many battle pets I liked, but there’s one pet I would never forget. I was traveling though Hillsbrad Foothills, and I found a garden, turns out it’s a game. I managed to beat that game, it was a blast! I was shocked to get a pretty sunflower pet, Singing Sunflower. Best experience ever.

My personal favorite is the Unborn Val’kyr. I like her looks and that she randomly raises dead critters that are nearby

Baby Blizzard bear but it got nerfed to where it no longer causes the bleed effect so the swipe now never does the extra damage.

I had to be hasty with my reply. Now I can edit. BBB was the best in game but now I would have to say that toon as well as my frog named Billy and my SC2 Mini Thor.

Why Billy and why the name? Becuase he can one shot ANY pet if he sets the weather up just right and gets a crit.

For looks, Emerald Whelpling. Not at all bad in a battle either.
Favorite as in the pet i use the most, PP Emperor Crab. Very strong as a Tank. Always on my capture team.

Sprite Darter hatching. I always liked this combination of creature from my EverQuest days (fae Drake, long before WoW came out) and I always wanted the stuffed toy from the shop but was too broke to afford him way back when, and now he no longer exists.

My love for this pet is so strong, that I nearly teared up when I found out he is now a world drop and not a quest. You see, I moved back to the US after living 11 years in the EU and I no longer have this pet (nor any of my titles, mogs, achievements etc spanning to 2005 because you can’t cross region things and I play on a US account now to be with people in my timezone) . I have to start over from nothing and I can not force myself to farm hoping for him.

But every time I see someone with one, I make sure to /love him and I remember all my poor pets on my other account including the first baby murloc that are probably all alone and sad…

I got my first sprite darter from the quest. I used to take it into BGs with me and I could always tell the pet collectors on Horde: they would target me above healers and flag runners. XD

The second was a drop, and the third was an AH purchase.
